I see your point, but you don't correct a mistake by making another mistake (intentional).

A team should never be in a position to lose the game on one play...And even when a team does lose on one play, it's the last play of the game. The score indicates the game ended long before the final seconds ticked off.

That one guy that was blocked illegally would have at least slowed Jackson down. Him being blocked sprung a huge hole and that is why it is a penalty to block someone in the back.

My whole point is that play was devastating to our fans as well as our team and if you were at the stadium you would have seen it. This Panthers team is not built to come from behind and I am not blaming the refs because we lost, I am blaming them for the big swing in momentum. We have to get better as an offense and we sure can't win if we get short changed on a 85 yard punt return for a TD.

It sprung a huge hole because everyone else was either out of position or unable to get off their blocks.

There are illegal blocks on punt/kickoff returns all the time that don't result in 85 yard TDs. Whether it was a bad call or not you can't blame the poor coverage all on the refs.

Watch the replay of it the defender had positioned himself to use the sideline and force Desean back to the inside until he was illegally blocked and then he ran down the sideline where the defender would have been. Don't get me wrong Desean is an elite punt returner so it doesn't take much but and illegal block is an illegal block no matter how you spin it.

I am saying Jason Baker out kicked the coverage but there was a DEFENDER with a PERFECT ANGLE on Desean and if he wouldn't have made the tackle he would have AT LEAST forced him back to the middle of the field where other DEFENDERS WERE but he was ILLEGALLY BLOCKED IN THE BACK so Desean was allowed to run down the sideline where there were NO DEFENDERS except Jason Baker and we all know how that will end up.

I don't know I have it recorded from yesterday on Shortcuts. I will try and take a pic of it and post so everyone can see. It was awful!
