Uhm... there was nearly a full second between the ball tipping off Brown's hands, and Burfict hitting him. Meanwhile, Burfict was staring him down the whole time. You will never convince me that Burfict didn't mean to hit Brown the way he did. Burfict could have at least tried to avoid Brown. He did nothing of the sort.

But no worries. Don't let me stop your fantasy world conspiracy theories about the NFL rigging games.

The hit was dirty. It was flagged and the team that deserved to win ended up winning.

Its already a known fact that sport games are rigged to some kind. The NFL loves their big market teams with history and love perfect story lines for better rating which is perfect for profit. Let people believe what they want. They are free too.

Pretty shocked there are posters saying brown sold that hit.

you could see his eyes roll into the back of his head while he was falling down. And his arms did that paralysis thing. Pretty fuging scary tbh.

Agree.  He was legitimately hurt.

That kind of hit is why that rule exists.  Sucks that the game is decided by that call but if that hit happens earlier in the game no one questions it being a penalty.

I'm done with Deion Sanders.

Sonofabitch is full-blown defending Vontez Burfict on NFL Network.  It's DISGUSTING.

Vontez Burfict has a dirty reputation FOR A REASON.

Sanders, you're an ASS.

Yea he's been showing his ass for awhile now...dood wasn't known for being tough or anything while playing either he was just a really good player....I remember Favre actually running Deon over in a playoff game...

Now it looks like he's trying to act tough and poo after the fact and try to make people think he was some badass or something...dood was like Chris Carter...good but soft as poo and now they try to act all hard and poo now that they are in the media.

Honestly Sanders sounds really corny and whack on there.

Poor AJ McCarron.  Watching his post-game interview.  He got the team ahead, and then to have your defense lose it.  He also mentioned how hard it was that it was raining harder several times when they were on offense.  I remember that happening to us against Indy...

Really sucks for him

he believes the sh*t he makes up..

What about targeting? Shazier clearly led with the crown.

targeting is a college rule. also a terrible rule because its often ends with hard, clean hits resulting in ejections. with how terrible the NFL refs are just imagine Luke or JJ Watt or some other fan favorite getting kicked out of the game in the 1st quarter for blowing up a screen and the refs not knowing the rules.

Media bias =/= league bias. Correlation =/= causaton. Yes, you are free to believe that the NFL radios down to the refs every game to decide the fate of teams, but if your theory is true, the Panthers probably wouldn't have won 15 games this year. Just saying.

You and I have a different definition of "known fact".

No different than Micheal Irvin defending Beckham,

Fug these posers.

Pacman Jones just posted a rant on Instagram basically saying "fug the refs".

If he, or Burfict, play another down for the Bengals...yeah...you deserve everything, Cincy.

pacman has actually not been a big head case for the Bengals the past few years. Burfict has, but he also has been one of the best LBs in the AFC.

You mistake people saying that he lowered his body,  with "He was just trying to sell it".    Brown is very much injured and the hit looked nasty.       When he bent over and lowered his head a moment before he was knocked out,  I'm sure he didn't even see Burfict coming at him.     Was a case of wrong place, wrong time.  After Brown bent down,  there was no way for him to adjust before the hit,   the same as when Burfict was running at Brown full speed,  leading with his shoulder,  there was no way for him to adjust a split second after Brown leaned down.
