I honestly had no opinion on the pick.  Didn't know anything about him tbh.  DT out of Purdue?  I just put my faith in Nippleshorts.

I remember fans being mostly positive or neutral toward KK. Now if you want things to get interesting, then go back to the Cam threads before it was obvious we were going to draft him. The majority of fans HATED the idea of drafting Cam. They wanted to draft anyone else, or trade down. I wanted AJ Green or Cam, but people were up in arms about not wanting Cam. Then as we got closer to the draft they quieted down because it was pretty clear we were going to take him. That was a wild time.

i agree, didn't have a real opinion, i knew from pre-draft readings that he was a talented pass rusher, but felt kinda bored with the 2 DTs in a row. it wasn't bad or good, but seemed like an answer to the Fua, McClain, and Neblett years.

Yeah I remember a few people freaking out about the double DT because of no WR and then a bunch of long conversations about the difference between a 0 tech and 3 tech.

I think people were more just flabbergasted we double dipped, not necessarily mad (minus a small percent)
