I think we've played Seattle long enough that at some point... it seems like youre watching the Same play over and over again. The main reason that Seattle Did so well was because they had Jimmy Graham in there... or one of the reasons.

He has seen enough of Carolina to just know what to do and when to do it. :) This game will definitely be different...and I'm sure Sean MC DERMOTT is reading this bro. lol.

The offense has been better since Graham got hurt....so your logic is flawed

The vast majority of Seattle's plays are set up to take advantage of undisciplined defensive players.  I've seen them run this play countless times this year:  play action - power run left, QB bootleg right with a TE/slot WR dragging across the formation back to the right.  The DE or LB that is responsible for TE/slot WR coverage gets greedy and plays the run, leaving the TE/slot WR uncovered.  The backside DE gets too aggressive and collapses on the line, playing the run.  Meanwhile, Russel has a clear line of sight where he can run 15 yards untouched, or dump it off to the TE/WR uncovered 15 yards down the field.  They killed the Cardinals with these misdirection plays.  We must play disciplined ball and force him to make contested throws to decently covered WR's.

It's this plus it helps him that his line is usually holding the whole time he's scrambling. Rivera needs to put a bug in the ears of the refs to watch for that holding.

He may be referring to the last time we played them when JG had almost 200 yards. But yeah, they have been better since he got injured, and you could say the same about Lynch.

Don't know why everyone assumes we'll be playing the Hacks? AP is gonna have a career day. Come to Charlotte and get his usual 65 yds in a 17 point loss.

This. I've never seen this many threads about an overrated team we may not even play. Nauseating. Gotta correct you tho about AP coming to Charlotte. If Vikes win, they're going to Arizona, not Charlotte.

That's gonna be good cold physical classic January game. If AP gets going and Bridgewater doesn't do anything dumb, Vikings have a good chance.

How many times has Wilson burned us on like a 3rd down with 13 yards to go, he rolls out to his right because we are about to sack his ass, but somehow he throws up a miracle duck pass to Doug Baldwin on the the right sideline, who is falling out of bounds, but still makes the catch at the first down marker? Russell Wilson manages to do the crap to us alot. Whatever it takes to eliminate that type of play and we win by 3 TD's.

On average about once or twice a game.  In truth, our defense has done a pretty good job against them.  Until the last game, our offense, or lack thereof has been the problem.

Our defense played seattle the same for a long time... lets focus on stopping lynch and i believe were the one team that did that VERY VERY VERY well...then 2 years ago i believe.. no matter how talented we were, we learnt that you have to emotionally check yourselves when playing loaded teams.. rem that San Fran game. Last year we learnt that no matter how good you think you are : at the end of the day the team with more talented depth will always win because the numbers and economics dictate that even the third stringers can compete with you.

We didn't see that this offseason but as Gettlemagic said... yo don't go 15 - 1 because you have an easy schedule... you do that because you have a team. :)

Carolina HAS A FRESH team in the playoffs : Talented : Experienced and ready to go.

When pressured IMO he tends to break the pocket and look for the deep lob.  I don't think he makes great passes...I think he catches lots of DBs playing bad ball.  DBs will simply need to remember to play the ball.  Not give them cheap PI.  Turn around and get the pick

Oh and what we need is NOT to have slow CJ and Alllen playing lots of reps.  Wilson can toy with them outside the pocket....we need speed at DE to limit Wilson's time to ad lib

Bingo.

Wilson's "magic" isn't accidental. He's 5'11 and as shifty as a HB. Hard for typical DEs to keep up with him and chase him down. The longer a play goes on, coverage breaks down and bam. Wilson magic.

For the DBs, stay on your man. Trust the line and backers to handle Russ once he inevitably breaks the pocket. Their biggest plays are when a play breaks down and what everyone said about the defense staying disciplined is true. Contrary to popular belief, this will be a shoot-out.
