I expect this to be his best playoff performance. He's improved so much from last year to this year, reading defenses. The style CAR played this year, running heavy is great for the playoffs.

I agree with this completely. Cam has matured a lot and his line has gotten better. He's ready for the big time. If we run into trouble It will be because our patchwork secondary is allowing teams to hang with us, not because Cam falters.Honestly though, i don't think that this will happen. We've already beaten most of the NFC teams we could face, and the AFC doesn't scare me much right now.

Offensively, I'm worried about Remmers. He's been the weak link on the OL. I'm also concerned if CAR figured out how to stop slants, ATL killed CAR in their last game with those.

If we play Panther football, we are going to be tough to beat. We don't need to be perfect to win, but we do need to limit the mistakes we are bound to make.

We are one tough team at home. We have the MVP. We have a pretty good Defense. It is going to take the opposition playing a nearly flawless game to beat us.

I like our chances. GOOOOOOOO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You compare where Cam is this season and where he was previous seasons he's progressed and matured a hell of a lot.

Hopefully it's going to show in the playoffs this year. You can give QBs all the praise of near perfect MVP season but if we get the breaks beat off us in the first playoff game all of that is very close to meaningless.

I think Cam and the panthers would shut a lot of these nagging haters up permanently by playing lights out in the playoffs. I don't think you can say you EXPECT them to win the Super Bowl this year.  What I realistically expect is for them to win their first game (divisional) no matter what, and at the least play a very competitive NFC Championship game with serious chance(s) to win that game.. If we win NFC Championship Game or even Super Bowl that would be great though.

we're also going to really hope for the best for our receivers to catch foot balls consistently. There's not much leeway for dropping multiple potential TD passes in a playoff game usually

Cam isn't known to have the best stats in the playoffs. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/N/NewtCa00/gamelog/post/

He has 5 Touchdowns to 5 Interceptions,

He has 0 rushing Touchdowns.

Part of these stats are against great defenses and the most harshest of competition by virtue of being the playoffs. Not many QB's have great Post-season stats outside of 2 or 3 a year.

So what I wonder, what are you guys hoping to see from Cam in the Post-season? What kind of plays do you think he does best with against the stiffer competition? We have seen masterful games from him this season and even since 2013 against great defenses in this league.

Cam will surely have to play better with our leaky secondary than his previous playoff efforts if we expect to win against the likes of Seattle, Arizona, and even possibly Minnesota if they catch fire.

His previous playoff performances have been with Byron Bell and Nate Chandler at OT and Amini Silatolu at OG, right?
