Seahawks fans overlooking the Vikes

Here is what's going to happen in the Seattle vs Minn game. Minn will run the ball as much as possible, and keep Bridgewater throwing simple easy passes. Their drives will stall as a result, or they'll get a few field goals at most. Seattle will answer with TDs with Wilson scrambling for first downs and throwing deep, and pounding them with Lynch. The Vikings defense will be gassed from chasing Wilson all over the field, and things will get worse as with the Vikings low time of possession. This will force the Vikings to throw to keep up. Bridgewater is clueless, so he'll throw about 3 interceptions. Game over. We've been on a collision course with Seattle for a while now.

your probably right...and they beat us several times in a row on their road to their championship

I just cant fathom Russell Wilson is suddenly Dan Fouts and they high flying all over field...

I don't really think of any team as high flying this season. Wilson will go deep off scrambles, and that will break the Vikings back. Even if that doesn't, the scrambling and superior QB play from Wilson will doom the dummy led Vikings.

The issue that Minn had in the earlier game against Seattle was on defense.  They allowed Seattle to get out to a multi score lead because they were without 4 defensive starters (and their 3 best).  This took Peterson out of the game and put it all on Bridgewater....bad thing.

With their defense healthy and their secondary being very good, I think they keep this close and AP will be able to be a major factor the entire game.  Not sure if they pull off the upset, but I think it will be a close game.

Additionally, the Seahawks don't have Thomas Rawls anymore, who gave the Vikings fits. Their defense, like ours, handles power RBs better, so they should be much more successful against Lynch. Also, I think the Vikings will be extremely motivated, similar to the Falcons coming off 38-0 against the Panthers.

That's a great way to put it.  Watching Bridgewater trying to make big plays with his arm down two scores will be ugly... real ugly.  He is the epitome of game manager, but even some game managers can make plays downfield, while Teddy can't.

Btw Hawks absolutely BOTTLED UP Peterson last time they played, it was ugly.

The talk about Minnesota getting their defensive players back is misguided; none of them on the field are going to make Bridgewater any better.

Anyone who trusts Bridgewater against the Seahawks defense in the playoffs is out of their mind.

The Rams with Case Keenum beat the Seahawks in Seattle.

His stats from that game:

The Rams even led 16-0 at one point late in the 2nd half.

The Vikings, just like the Rams did, will rely on their excellent defense and excellent run game to win this game.

I hope you bet some money on the Seattle vs AZ game. You were one of the few posters on here who agreed with me that Seattle would beat AZ.

Some unusual oddball plays must have gone the Rams way in that game. Let me go look. Vikings had better pull some trick plays out of their ass.

I watched the game and the Rams kicked their @ss.  They certainly benefitted from a fumble return for a TD but the Hawks were gifted some ticky tack personal fouls on 3rd downs to keep scoring drives alive.

Most important thing to know is both their OL and DL got whipped.  One of their fans said thankfully we don't have Aaron Donald.  Ha!  As if we drafted Star (who missed the playoff game last year) and KK for our entertainment while they traded multiple picks for Percy the same year.  Star/KK against their BELOW AVERAGE interior OL and Turner/Kalil/Norwell against their old, depleted, meh interior DL is a freakin mismatch.  But then again DeNial is not just a river in Egypt for Hawk fans.
