"Panthers are the dangerous NFC team" by Deon Sanders

Well in fairness Seattle is a dangerous team. They have tons of recent playoff experience and they are playing with very little expectations. If they lose its no big deal, making the playoffs after the way they ended last year and started this year will be seen as a huge victory. Whereas all the pressure is on us. We have the best record in the league, home field, the MVP, coach of the year, defensive player of the year and 10 probowlers. If we don't win it all it will be seen as a huge failure.

Yep, this is exactly it.  Seattle has a great story line for now.  If we lose, it will not be as big a headline as the "scrappy, underdog Seahawks."

Conversely, if we win, it's not a big deal because we went 15-1 and are the best team in the NFC.  The media knows how to spin the story to get clicks.

I'm not sure if seattle makes it past Minnesota. That's going to be a physical game for sure. I think the playoffs aligned just about right this year.

And like someone else pointed out, the forcast for sunday in Minneapolis is 13°f. Even if Seattle beats Minny. It's going to take a Herculean effort to come to BOA and beat the Panthers in a 1 pm game time.

If the Hawks beat Minny next sun. They have to fly to Charlotte for a 1:00pm game. Not an easy draw for Seattle.

On top of that (and I just checked) the HIGH temperature on Sunday when the Hawks go to visit the Vikings is predicted to be...

12

In an outdoor stadium.

Yes, that effects both teams for sure, but it would seem that maybe a Minnesota team would be better prepared for it than a Seattle team.

Then, yes, if the Hawks do win, they have to travel from coast-to-coast.

The early weather forecast for next Sunday in Minnesota is for snow and a high of 12 degrees.  Even if they win that kind of game takes a lot out of a team.

Dammit, I should have read ahead.

Sorry for my duplicate post regarding the above.

Hi. Irvin did the same thing.  Even offered to be the 'go between'.  It was ridiculous

Uh, if Irvin offered to be the go between that'd be weird, cuz Deion had already offered to be the go-between. Irvin seemed to be of the opinion that OBJ was wrong but he still thinks he's a good guy.  Deion's the one that said for someone on the Panthers to call him so he could set up an apology

I guess it's not really important cuz it's old news, but I think you have the two guys confused.
