It's going to be interested to see if Beane gets poached. Many forget, but his name was still tossed around before Gettleman was hired, especially after filling in after Hurney got the boot. I think it's awesome that we could be looking at an Eric DeCosta type situation, here. A big name GM holds onto his job, all the while the Assistant GM is constantly being groomed by the organization because he is a team guy.

Beane is not going anywhere. He is primed to take over for DG and you be damn sure he'll have a talented roster.
