Based on the schedule, and being a Panthers realist, not a homer, i predict the Panthers start this season 0-3. It has nothing to do with getting blown out, it just based on the first 3 games of our schedule. I do think we will follow that up with 3 straight wins to get back to .500

Eagles always beat us during the regular season, we have lots of trouble beating the Falcons in Atlanta, and Dallas will probably kick the poo out of us on Monday night...yea thats 0-3 staring us in the face...But i wont be down, cause the next 3 games are very winnable and could bring us back into the hunt.

After the bye we have Washington who is very beatable, followed by Tampa who is also very beatable and the Bills. IMHO thats 3 games which should be won. Could we lose one of those, sure, but we could also win one of the next 2...

The middle of the season has its tough games nothing too crazy, but our finish is absolutley brutal! Vikings, Patriots, Giants, Saints..Good luck with that!

Basically 3-3 by week 8 is best case scenerio in my eyes..this is just based on scheduling and what i have seen so far this week...Thoughts?

Yeah, lookin t'ward either an 8-8 season or 7-9. Don't believe it? Check our records every year since the beginning. You'll find that only a couple of times did we NOT have a 7-9 or 8-8 season after having a stellar year. Just sayin'.

Considering the fact that I believe we have the second hardest schedule of any team in the NFL and all of the problems we are currently experienced coupled with the fact that other teams in the NFL have envigorated and stacked up their talent while our team has stagnated I don't believe us to have a great season. I am not getting my hopes up for post-season or superbowl...there are just too many damn teams that are a lot more talented this year.

I am however interested in watching the entire season and pay close attention to where we need the most changes and I am curious to see what the guys in charge are going to do about the worst combination in football history Jake + Fox. One of these two guys should have not been here this year. And I will say it again. If the two of them are back again next year....then the same thing will happen.

The Jake + Fox mentality is archaic and honestly even with a new QB this team won't see drastic changes. Fox has his own style of football and while its great for having overall winning seasons it sucks for actually winning a superbowl. His system is not flexible, and resiliant enough for a football team to bounce back when the game is on the line in the post season and still come out a winner.

Fox needs to go to another team and get some new school football training experience and we need a coach that understands the passing game and re-vamps the entire offensive playbook.

We need Cower and then get a new QB. If we give Fox a talented QB he won't know what to do with him, plus the guy won't have but one decent target anyway. Smith.

We need a new coach...then let that coach get us a new QB and a new receiver...2 actually. Because by the time all this happens Smith will be getting old and slow. I really feel bad for Smitty. What waste of talent. We really should just trade the guy next year. Let him go somewhere where he may still have a chance to get a Superbowl ring cause he sure as hell deserves it.

Except Dallas. Do NOT go to Dalls Smith. You will force me to like them. Please do not go to Dallas because I will have no other team to hate with a passion since now the Eagles are getting horrible........... although.....they are getting Vick...Eagle hate could return in full force.
