Jesus how demoralizing will it be after all this we fizzle at the end of the season and get the 2 seed

Make a bet ? Ban from the huddle for the post season soon as the Panthers clinches 1st seed.

Nothing worse in the world than a 2 face guy.IGO

This wouldn't be a big of question mark if we had been using the players filling in on all season.

Tre Boston, Wherger, Norwood, Byrd, We could of used these players atleast in situations and be fine with playing them for depth.. but now this cast a different tense perspective for the players getting the chance.

I take these injuries as part of the early bye, we had some fresh players that gave us an edge early on but now its been a long haul and we are banged up. Tampa is getting better but we're at home and unless our secondary lets them in at the start- I think the home crowd can carry the boys to a convincing victory, even with a young offense. Shula knows what to do and we had a rest last week.

...and it appears the dark knight is preparing to answer the bat light from the Duke Energy building

I know Bersin would be the next man up to dress, but where the hell is Norwood?  Week 17 is hardly the time to depend on him, but really shocked how little his name has been mentioned this season. He must be sucking in practices on the field, because he's been MIA ever since that dropped TD pass waaaaay back earlier this season.  It's gotta be more than dropsies, bc lord knows, we've got a couple of WRs that have dropped a fair amount of TDs this season.

No Ginn, no Stewart, no Coleman and of course Whittaker

defense needs to show up Sunday

Newton will need to carry the load

Stewart, if not now, when.

All three of these losses are gonna make this a tough game. We are gonna need excellent play from our front-7 and they have been playing very poorly since the home game against ATL.

Not to mention the field conditions are going to be bad. It's gonna take an MVP caliber performance from Cam to lock-up home field throughout.

we had plenty of chances to beat ATL last week and we folded. Time for CJ, Allen and our LB corp to play their best game of the season.

Who would you have deactivated for Norwood?  We were winning with Ginn, Brown, Cotch & Funchess...  Bersin was clearly the choice to activate when Cotch was injured.   We need 7 inactive players each week.  Some guys are gonna sit, even if they're capable players.

Also, I keep wondering what the conditions were on our trade with Seattle.  Maybe Norwood's not playing was to keep us from having to give away our draft pick?

Anyone can "return" a punt. The hard part is fielding them. Much like an outfielder in baseball, the sun, distance, velocity and situation can determine how its fielded. And then of course you have to catch the damn ball and secure it.

this comes with experience which means unless you have been a PR your whole life but aren't the starting returner for some reason, you probably haven't done it in a while.

Obviously fielding the punt is tough and requires experience. I was asking if Wegher was capable of that.
