Players out

Stewart SHOULD NOT play this week.  The problem last week wasn't our run game, it was the fact we abandoned our run game.  CAP ran for 9.5 YPC, what the hell more do you want from the guy?  On top of this, Stewart has had an injury plagued career, so what if he's injured in the playoffs, are we just gonna abandon the run game like we did last week?  I'd rather us use CAP, Tolbert, and Wegher in regular first team roles so that if Stew gets injured in the playoffs we won't miss a beat against a much better team than the Bucs are.

Hi, Broncos fan here. I just signed up and not sure if there is a minimum post number before I can start a thread but I can't create one so will ask this here.

I was a big fan of Ealy in college and wanted the Broncos to take him a few years ago. How is he doing ? Just a pass rush specialist ? I was hoping with a year or 2 in an NFL strength and conditioning program he would amount to more then that.

Good luck in the playoffs !!

So many of you are overreacting in regards to keeping these guys out this week. We have a first round bye locked up and should take advantage of that. It would be nice to have home field throughout, but you have to get through the divisional game for that to even matter. Two extra weeks for these guys to heal up is huge.

Our running game has been fine (when committing to it) with CAP. We now get a taste of Weger we all have wanted.

Ginn obviously hurts, but Brown can stretch the field as well.

Coleman is worrisome, given our secondary has been torched as of late. Boston is capable of playing at a high level which we saw in spurts last year.

It will be fine... Relax! If this players can't step up in a situation like this, then this team has a lot of growing to do..

Honestly, I'm not worried.

I'd rather have Ginn out and resting rather than in and less than 100%. Last week after he went down and then came back in, he really wasn't worth more than as a decoy and they wised up to that pretty quick. They haven't showcased Philly's speed in a while and it might be time to do so. One speedy guy who is a 50/50 catcher is about the same as another speedy guy who is a 50/50 catcher. One of those on the field at a time is really all you need. Big, rangy receivers like Funchess, and steady possession guys like Cotchery or Bersin will get more play time.

Fozzy being out basically means that there is going to be a lot more activity for CAP and that is a really good thing right now. It also should give Wegher a chance to show what he can do against good defenses.

Coleman needs a rest and it might motivate Josh to do even better. Boston should get a shot and he needs it.

These aren't the guys who will win or lose the game for us. The game is going to come down to Cam, Remmers, our LB corps and whether our defensive line can generate some kind of pass rush. None of these others are nearly as critical as those areas.

All Rookie last year after starting in the doghouse.  Beat Joe Thomas for a sack.  5 sacks in 5 straight weeks this year.  Made a BEAUTIFUL play on Russell Wilson in the open field.  Simply put, the sky is the limit and anyone that knows anything is jacked he's ours.

Many are miffed that Allen and Johnson have taken his reps away.  Allen is the active sacks leader and Johnson is the 4th highest paid player in football, but Ealy has produced more when given the chance.
