Too bad we don't have our 5th or 6th rounder this year

Oh, and you forgot the part where we trade up for a WR and in the process lose most of our picks and depth in the process

Because when you can't score enough the obvious solution is to draft a skill player, right? RIGHT?!?!

Still can't believe TD managed to successfully place 100% of the blame on Mike Smith.

I bet the story he told to Blank had so many twists,  bends and turns that Blank needed a map to follow along.

Cam and Jameis are completely different players and both can have successful careers. Cam is obviously on his way already but Winston has shown great talent, poise and leadership already in his rookie year. One intangible they share is they absolutely hate to lose.

Well, it is a passing league now, right? I mean... stout trenches and a running game can't win in this day and age of the high flying aerial-style football. That's just crazy talk right there!!!

I feel ya bro. We had our own version of that with Hurney for years, and it drove most of us nuts with how quickly he'd trade away any and all picks to get that "project" player that never amounted to poo in the long run. With that said, stick around man. You're one of the few posters on the Atlanta boards that I've seen that has reasonable expectations of his team, and talks football and not trash on game day. Much respect for ya.

Much appreciated good sir. And it's funny you mention that last part, which was pretty much the reason I recently got banned from the Atl board, my realist views constantly clashed with the Kool-Aid drankin' homers. Most of those peeps can't handle real talk, but this place seems to have a better grip of that. Being a lifelong resident of NC, I got some love in my heart for the Panthers, and with all the naysayers I hope they make quite a bit of noise in the playoffs this year

I've read your stuff on TAFT and I appreciated your ability to take off the homer glasses and speak objectively about things.  Welcome to the Huddle.

You know. You could have just said. "To me, he's like another Mike Smith"?

We would have got it. Trust us.

No biggie, no drama. Just saying.

If he had done that, it wouldn't have been near as funny.
