Hornets vs Clippers/Al Jefferson Out Extended Period Of Time

Sorry, i havent been able to keep up with game threads recently as I've been really busy with my newborn (not to mention my older three lol).

We're without Lin, Jefferson, and Hawes tonight and we've kept it tight all night, only down 5 halfway through the 3rd.

Also, dont have a link, but Dell said on the broadcast that it was just announced Al will be out and will be undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery.  For someone who was supposed to be such a standup/good guy, he sure is looking like your average, "who gives a poo, im paid," asshole this season.  I'm not saying this because of his injury, but combined with his drug suspension (which wreaks of reckless indifference on his part) and getting fat last season, this season is just following all of the symptoms of a guy who was unhappy with his lesser role and lack of long-term security.

I think we've seen the last of Al playing in a Hornets jersey.  I don't expect him back this year and we'd be idiots to re-sign him.   The black-hole experiment is over, time to move on.   Unfortunately for him, this hasn't been much of a contract year so that last "big contract" is probably not going to happen.

We still have a ways to go, but there is plenty of talent, and room to build moving forward with this team.

Kaminsky, Lamb, Zeller, MKG, Batum and Kemba is a solid group. Can't wait to see all them healthy and improving while on the floor together. If we can keep Batum and Frank doesn't pull an Adam Morrison, we can be a top 4 seed in the East next season.
