I used to envy the D'Antoni Suns in the early 2000's. I'm a Warriors fan and they used to play an awesome style of ball and did it so much better than the Warriors did.

They couldve won several titles if not for their hatred of playing any actual defense. Love how Kerr went full Chip Kelly mode on the Suns and then won a ship with GS his first year. Lol

Cardinals fan here. Hope I can join in the conversation. I joined up because i'm convinced our two teams will meet up in the NFC championship game.   I even took the days off from work and bought a plane ticket to Charlotte already.

I read every post on this topic and I have to say I agree if you can get a pass rush on Palmer he can sometimes tend to get a bit flustered and make bad decisions or even hold the ball and take the sack when he shouldn't.

I've watched every Cardinals game this year and a lot of the panthers games and the thing that worries me the most going up against you is Cam Newton. Mobile QB's can hurt us because of how aggressive our defense can be sometimes.  containing Newton will be key for us.

I personally feel like the Cardinals are the better team ( I am biased however) but the panthers will definitely be our hardest match up period.

a little insight on our two losses. the Steelers game we played like garbage. was definitely not a good day for my team.  The rams game ugh. they played well but.... ( and I don't say this hardly ever because i hate the excuse) but the refs screwed us and we had a few mental errors we couldn't overcome.

Welcome to the Huddle! And good insight. I'm really hoping our teams meet up. Last year's playoff game was kinda anticlimactic for both teams. This year, it would be a battle of juggernauts. May well be the real Super Bowl like when the 9ers and Hawks played back in January 2014. Health and luck to your team until you come to Charlotte, then only health ;) haha

Dude what the hell? This cards fan has been nothing but classy. I read the rest of your conversation and saw that you sorta made up for it, but poo dude. Save that for Saints and Falcons fans. Lol.

Sometimes you have to vent... I've heard enough about the cardinals from our bandwagoners.

I got thick skin... plus you're not a cowboys or 49er's fan so i can forgive.  I have more insight on the cardinals then your bandwagoners anyway. haven't missed watching a game of theirs since maybe 2002 I think.

Probably our stiffest competition left for a Lombardi. I'm honestly not too familiar with their team. I know they have an overachieving QB, an overachieving RB forced into the lineup by injuries, and a stout defense. But all I hear from the media us that they are better than the Panthers. But the media always gives feel good reasons, "they just feel better."

So educate me, what are the Cardinals weaknesses? How does their team match up against ours?

I haven't read the rest of the thread yet, but they are fuging stacked. We can minimize it all we want, but your first sentence is correct. They are our stiffest competition.
