Charles Johnson is cementing his exile from the Panthers...

Ok that's what I was wondering. You should probably have dropped this nugget on page 1.

There is a possibility of him resigning with the Panthers at a much lower cost.

Out of all the Panthers, CJ loves this area the most. Pair that with his opening up his new restaurant... he wants to stay.

I doubt it.  Dude is big money, he will go with the highest deal. Probably will play well too.

At this point, there is probably a better chance of us bringing back Greg Hardy or Steve Smith than Charles Johnson actually leaving significant money on the table contract wise. I would be happy if he would surprise me, but I just don't see that happening.

I agree.

We may be mad at CJ right now, but we do need him. He is stout against the run, and is the 2nd best pass rushing DE on the team, with the first being Ealy.

Haven't we been giving up chunks of yards on the ground since he's come back?

Not really. 31, 70, 54, 161, and 77 since he has been back.

The games he missed we gave up 141, 115, 177, 136, 71, 64, 14

I'm not sure you can make a connection between him and bad rush defense.
