Suffice to say the team is pissed the hell off and that's a good thing. I wanted to go 19-0 but it was started to seem like they were getting too cocky. The loss is a good thing. I don't see overconfidence being a problem again this season. 

Can you explain this more?

Which part? The fact that they trashed the plane? I can't because that's all the info that was posted. Plane was allegedly trashed by the team so the flight was delayed an hour so it could be cleaned.

They did not say since I imagine that is all they heard from whatever airline representative was working their gate. My assumption is that some players were pissed off and threw some stuff and maybe broke a couple things.

Toward the end of the game they kept showing RR and he had somewhat of a smirk. I believe he believes a lost was good for the team. Maybe his thought process is that a loss can reach these players moreso than the coaching staff. That they can use this to get the team refocus. I don't think we will have a subpar effort for the remainder of the season. If we get beat it won't be from subpar effort but getting beat by a better squad or better execution. Arizona looks strong. We can beat them but it will take our best effort.

In a way I think this loss is somewhat of a relief for Rivera. Now he can get back to his "one game at a time" mentality. Before the loss, Rivera faced a decision far out of his comfort zone: "History or preservation?".

Seeing his reaction to questions about a 15-0 scenario reminded me somewhat of the Greg Hardy fiasco, where Rivera was fielding questions about off-field noise and he really didn't know how to respond.

Now it's back to smash-mouth, Panthers football with a win-now by any means mentality. The coaches and players are on notice.

We played like crap and still were in this game until the end. We didn't get blown out just played bad against a team that wanted it more. We will be fine. We played a physical game in NY. add that with the holiday season and then play another road game against a team that hates you with the sideshow of ODBJ and the media, it's a lot on the players. We are a good squad who's beat good teams. We deserve to be number 1 and will be ok this week. Keep your heads up.
