I agree it doesn't lol...I am trying to figure out why some have hang up with Newton's play when it is obvious he deserves MVP...should not even be that close...

but something turns people off and they look to the Brady's and the Palmer's....

gotta be he plays an ugly style maybe?...not a classic pocket passer?....idk Im out of theories

Come on, man. We all know why he turns certain people off. I call them racists.

no its not that because we are talking NFL people voting...

I got it- yes Carson hasn't won a playoff game yet......but Cam's playoff failures seem to be in the current memory...the pick 6 against Seahawks...the loss at home to the 49ers...ext

whereas Carson hasn't played in a playoff game since '09...out of memory therefore he squeaky clean

Losing in the playoffs doesn't factor in the MVP vote. The MVP is decided before the playoffs.

Looks like the Cardinals are finishing strong and Palmer is a big reason why, but his talented receivers are something Cam can only dream about having.

Brady is one of the greats and his receiving corps has been depleted as the season progressed to the point that it is almost as bad as Cams has been all season long. Still his team dropped yet another game yesterday.

Russell Wilson has been on fire lately with receivers that aren't considered that great, but the Seahawks lost at home to the Rams and have multiple losses.

The award is still Cam's to lose, but a strong finish against Tampa wouldn't hurt his cause.

Be for real!! He was not and is not going to vote for Cam.  The loss is just an excuse.  Glad Al punched him in the mouth though.  THAT was nice!

You're right that Cris Collinsworth is using this loss as an excuse to not vote for Cam, but since he's using this one loss against Cam, then he has to use the multiple losses that Brady and Palmer have against them as well. His logic is flawed and he is an idiot.
