Cris Collinsworth Doubts If Cam Newton Should Be MVP

Honestly, after today's games...the only person who should maybe have a slight edge up from previous games is Carson Palmer.  Brady and Wilson ( lots of talk about him as of late ) both lost today as well.  I think the MVP might come down to this last game of the season.  If Cam tanks another game and Carson goes on to have a good / great game........it's possible he could be in talks to win it.  Do not get me wrong, I think at this point Cam should win it no matter what he does but you know how these guys have been all season.

Palmer shouldn't have a slight edge unless the Panthers lose again and the Cardinals win out. I agree that it will come down to the last game of the season though.

I am saying between Palmer, Brady and Wilson...Palmer has an edge above Brady and Wilson, not Cam.  Brady and Wilson at this point...should not even be in the talks anymore after today.  This is all IMHO of course.

One thing I will guarantee you is that if Andrew Luck had Cam's stats and record right now, trust me there wouldn't be no doubt who the MVP will be. They won't even mention Brady or Palmer. They will find a way to make Luck look like he got no weapons like they make excuses for him when he sucks. 

Cam is having the season most media experts picked Luck to have, but their golden boy flopped this season.

Cam will throw for 3 or 4 TDs Sunday against TB, we'll get the win, and he'll get that MVP award. 

While I was hoping for history, the loss yesterday will serve its purpose and refocus the team. Aside from TB, we will be underdogs or be severely doubted from here on out. This team thrives when being doubted or hated. Cam and the offense get back to rolling next week. As for the defense, I don't know, but I feel our offense will have to carry us throughout the postseason
