If we win the Superbowl this year

All of us will be hyped!  Besides that however, if we win it all this year, next year we should have a goal to go 19-0.  If there was one thing I couldn't stand about the potential of having an undefeated season, it was definitely the pussyfooting that went on around the subject.  All the crap about resting players and our guys giving the PC answers of "Our goal is not to go undefeated" simply got on my nerves.  Yet even worse than all of that was hearing fans throughout our run saying we should lose a game just to get it off our chest, or lose a game so we won't have to deal with the pressure.  All of that is crap.

So if we win it all this year and get our first championship, why not go into next year wanting to run the table?  That's the point of playing a sport.  You should want to set records that will stand for a long time or possibly set records that could never be broken.  Matter of fact, which is the better goal?  Is it to win every game you play (hint hint: that includes the superbowl geniuses), or to only focus on winning the superbowl?  All 32 teams focus on winning the big game, yet only one team gets it.  In my opinion, if you focus and expect to win every game you play, your chances of winning the big game will increase.

Anyway I expect us to go on like the 85' Bears and win the whole thing.  The road to the superbowl will come through the Carolinas for the NFC, and that will pay huge dividends for us.  Yet next year I want to see us go for it all and break the perfect season barrier.

Defense has been looking like pure ass the past few weeks.

I've tried to forget those numerous blowout losses from 2014, but we had mostly the same squad intact for those, and they looked just as lost as they did today. Ron, and McDermott need to turn this thing around in a hurry before we have to face the legit teams in the NFC.

If anything ATL prepared us to play a team like Cardinals with two good outside WRs and and a formidable  RB.  Also the Krptonite for Cardinals and Seattle' D is J-Stew and he will help us lead to the promise land.

Definitely having Stew back will help us maintain balance.  Fozzy and CAP ran well in my opinion, but our gameplan these past two games seemed off.  Stew at this point stabilizes our offense.

Ive never cared for undefeated seasons. What I want is a Lombardi. This season, as great as it has been, means nothing without that Trophy. But even greater, if we win it all, we could be on the verge of a dynasty. The dynasty of this decade has yet to emerge. There has been a dynasty for every decade the Superbowl has been in existence: 60s Packers, 70s Steelers, 80s 49ers, 90s Cowboys, 00s Patriots. No team has yet to win two this decade. The time is ripe for SOME team to win 3 in the next 5 years. The Seahawks left the door wide open after their gaff last year. I want so badly for it to be us. We're young enough. We have the QB. The Dolphins haven't won a Superbowl since 73 and they repeated after the undefeated season. The 85 Bears only won one Superbowl and haven't won one since. The Pats couldn't finish the job in 07. I would rather have the Lombardi followed by others. Fug undefeated- I want Trophies- and maybe the first team to win 3 in a row.

Yea from what I can tell the defensive strategy the last few games has been to give the QB 12+ seconds to throw...give the WRs 15 yard cushion and then allow every 3rd down to be converted for free....as long as we have those 4 Panther defenders behind them ready to make that tackle 20 yards down the field we're good to go.

The main problem is when we don't get pressure we have to blitz, when we blitz, we can't get pressure up the middle half of the time on the QB. For some reason we get pressure on the outside with our DEs a little bit, however when that happens the tackles are working the hell out of our ends forcing them to over pursue the quarterback. And Td n Kuechly getting blocked and clogged up in the middle is giving qbs time to throw. Watch 70% of our plays on defense you'll see what I'm talking about. When we do get pressure up the middle the QB throws it up to the check down miraculously. We have to get meaner on defense, and it starts this against Tampa.

The goal's for any season are always:

1.  Win division

2.  Secure home playoff game

3.  Secure top seed

4.  Win Super Bowl.

Going undefeated during the regular season would be nice but in the end it would just be decoration.  It would be nice to make history like that though, that's for sure.  Next year looks to be a tougher road but we'll have the same goals.
