Was this Luke's worst game as a Panther?

Honestly, the worst part of his game was he couldn't seem to decipher what the Falcons were doing on offense and couldn't get people in position to make plays. He, and everyone around him, looked like they were a bit hungover with lead in their shoes.

Must have been contagious, because with the exception of CAP, didn't look like anyone was on their game.

the julio catch was the biggest disappointment, ryan threw up a prayer similar to the one he threw to roddy a couple years back, short arm the hell out of the ball an our guys were in perfect position to make a play but didn't, you go for the bat down on a pass like that.

atl just kept making ridiculous plays on 3rd and long, that's right third and long.unacceptable. Just a really disappointing game all around, never seen a game where everyone but a rookie rb plays like trash

I thought Luke played well for the most part.  I dont know what,we could fault him on.  Only play i found questionable was it appeared he was playing too deep in the zone (likely cover 2) and allowed the reciever to catch the slant in front of him as a result.  But, idk that we can blame him for that because the whole defense was doing it, and to me, it looked like we were doing exactly what we did against the Bears a couple seasons ago when we wanted "to make them systematically beat us."  So,imo, that was more a result of strategy and the actual play calls.

The issue was, luke has historically made those adjustments despite the play calls.  If he saw something, like that, he'd file it away in his mental, and then jump the route the next time he saw the same formation.  Idk, i just think it was something they were doing as a unit because none of them appeared to make adjustments.

Also, the Julio TD was a complete fluke. For Ryan to have such a weak fuging noodle arm, we sure do love giving him TDs on those loaves of bread he chucks up.  That was a complete fluke, and im convinced if Coleman hadnt fell down, we win that game despite the horrible officiating and lack of offense.  It just sucks.

And I love TD, but if this thread was about him, i would give it consideration...  he got juked out of his pants by Jimmy Neutron and then made a horrible read on one of their option plays, with both plays helping to keep their drives alive.  Those were definitive and obvious one on one breakdowns.  I didnt see that with Luke yesterday.

Anyway...  i hope it stings and i hope our guys get focused and hungry again for Sunday.

He was bad.  Davis seemed worse.  Davis was bad last game as well, so seeing 2 games in a row like that is really disappointing.   I know people are worried about having a week off but that may do these vets good.  Like everyone said though, everyone not named Short was pretty bad.

Julio is the best WR in football. He's made plays like that all year, Fluke? No, it was the norm.

I dont care if he was half Jerry Rice fused with himself and a cyborg, catching a fuging punt while being double covered is not the norm for any WR.  With the amount of air Ryan leaves under the ball on his deep throws they are simply a prayer.  I maintain, if Coleman doesnt fall down, that play doesnt happen.  And even with Coleman falling down, he was lucky to catch it over Luke alone, simply because of how bad of a throw it was and his hands are still inconsistent.

He made a strong catch and finished, but dont act like there wasnt luck involved.
