I thought the Panthers played as if this were a pre-season game. First drive was balls out. Rest of the day we used about a third of the playbook. For some reason, we wanted to practice our dink and dunk game. I did not see one rocket pass for thirty yards down the seam. It's as if Ron doesn't want to show anything before the playoffs.

My son said the exact same thing especially about the defensive schemes. Doesn't excuse bad tackling, out of position playing however. Fundamentals!! That's where we failed today & I hope the statement was made clear, teaching moments found. Same with the offense. I just hate that it was to the Falcons. It's gonna be a dogfight next week.

I thought the same thing myself. Makes me wonder if they were just using this game as a glorified practice with hostile crowd noise. Lol.  I know our defense failed when it counted today, but I really felt like the offense was hamstrung early on by the coaches. Between the personnel used and the playcalling, it really did seem to be an extremely conservative approach that didn't really match with the atmosphere of the game

Something that may have been mentioned, but one reason I'm happy that we have lost before the playoffs, it's easier to get players to listen to you when its after a loss, not so much when you're undefeated.

we have had some serious issues show up time and again this season. maybe the players will listen better now.

Football is such a hard game to predict at the NFL level.......and this is what makes the playoffs nerve racking with only one game and you are eliminated.

That said, I believe that all games are determined primarily by the health and skill/physical set of your offensive line first...........then your defensive line.

If your O line is dominant you can move the chains and eat up the clock, keep their offense off the field and help keep your Defense fresh.

Panthers struggled with that today...............and Arizona didn't ...........and you see the results.

Forget all the skill players....if they don't have the time to execute and are under pressure...........then they all look very bad...........Aaron Rodgers anyone from last night?

Same with the D line but it starts with the O line........that is the foundation of success.......

From here I don't have anymore comments other than whoever has the hot set up with the O line and the D line wins in the playoffs.......

Exactly Igo! We had the worst game offensively and defensively that we had all year. We got it out of the way. Yes I would have loved to go undefeated but as other posters said, I rather lose now than in the playoffs. We know what needs to be fixed and we will fix it. Eliminate that dumb penalty by Tillman and that miracle catch by jones and how knows how things would have turned out. I have my eyes on the bigger prize and that's the Super Bowl. We win next week and Charlotte has a chance to host a nfc champ game. Just let that marinate. No one said this was going to be easy but I believe in my team and believe we can get to the super bowl and win. As Aaron Rodgers said, Relax!

I can only speak for myself , But we still have the best W/L record in the NFL this year  with 1 more game to go in the regular season then off to the play offs  ..Losing any game sucks but we as fans have a lot to be proud about in this Team/Panthers organization

Come on , Who would have even thought  with kelvin Benjamin we  would be at  14/1 right now ,

Imagine the meltdown if we go one and done after this marvelous season. I think I will go hibernate until September if that happens. If defense keeps sucking ass we very well might.

I understand that it's tough to win in the NFL but I'll definitely be disappointed if it's one-and-done as well, but mainly because I think this team has too much ability and chemistry to not win at least one playoff game.

If not now, then when? Seriously, Cards and Hawks are here to stay and GB still has Rodgers for a good 5 years. We have arguably our best team ever and a legit MVP at QB. All the pieces are in place. This has definitely felt like our year. Hopefully they turn up for the playoffs and play out of their minds. If we do go one and done though, I think I will have a more catastrophic meltdown than our superbowl loss.
