Bluetooth doesn't "ruin" the quality.  It's a slight degradation with a good pair.  I mix over bluetooth all the time.  Unless you're doing critical eqing and sound shaping it's really not a huge deal and most people wouldn't even notice, especially if you're listening to already compressed file types. (like eazy e mentioned above). I'm pretty sure he's not listening to raw wav or aif files so it's an exaggeration.

It's not because it's a certain brand it's because it's a fad, not a real product hence the rediculous price but more importantly the competition having a much better product. But people see it everywhere on stars and with fancy style and who gives a fug about quality, as long as they look cool and are 'in'.

 

Some people just don't grow out of that phase...
