Any hotel within 100 miles will have a 2 night mimimum. Book Fri and Sat, then change to Sat/Sun if necessary.

 

PS We always get the 8:00 Saturday game.

You're right. To suggest collusion would also suggest that the airlines and hotels would offer some type of kickback to the NFL in order to make it worthwhile to the League. Those plane tickets are such a small drop in the bucket that it wouldn't even be worth it to pay for such a thing. And hotels will be full regardless on playoff weekends anyway. The NFL is out for the NFL's best interest, nothing more, nothing less.

Most hotels let you book a room and give you the option to cancel like one day before with no fees. 

Flights always charge fees and jack up prices for all events, not just the NFL.

Hope it's the 17th, that's my birthday.  Couldn't think of a better gift than a playoff win from the panthers and to get the divisional round monkey off our back.
