does he think he will get drafted higher after taking a season off? he will slip to mid to late first rnd maybe even lower. I don't think teams will be jumping at the oppertunity to take this guy with his issues any earlier.

According to the press out here Eugene Parker is advising him to sign, he is reportedly getting "Financial Advise" from Deion Sanders.

There were also reports that teams have made inquires about acquiring his rights, but SF said no.

How has this agent convinced this kid that he's gonna be better off by trying to break the system and hold the 49ers hostage? He's gonna end up with a bad rep, less money (possibly much, MUCH less) and a much harder time when/if he does ever play...
