In the regular season?

I just want him to score through thair and ground in the next games. So he can pass Steve Young in that stat.  Thrown and run TDs. That would be awesome.

the regular season passing record is 50, set by brady in 2007. i don't think he had a rushing TD that year so if cam could amass 11 over two games he'd have the nfl all-time record.

almost certainly not gonna happen, but god if he went off for like 7 TDs against that failure of a falcons defense he'd have it right in his sights

Peyton Manning got 55 in 2013 to break bradys record.  (He had 1 rush td that year as well)

Fwiw, brady had 2 rushing tds in 2007 as well.

NEVER would've guessed the strides Cam has made as a passer this year.  I figured he'd be a longshot MVP candidate (with KB), but my lord I've never been so confident in close games as I have this year.  I'd almost rather be down and have the ball in Cam's hands than I'd want the defense on the field with a lead.

The improvements he has made from year to year .... He will be the most feared QB for the next several years.

The Panthers will be talked about in the same sentence as the Super Bowl for the next 10 years.

GREAT time to be a Panthers fans, for those of us who are Day 1 fans .... I am in HEAVEN!!!!!!!

    • That's the thing, he's this good and not even a finished product.  A lot of great TEs don't have elite twitch and suddenness to them.  He's a football player through and through and I feel that once he gets to eat/sleep football 24/7 in the NFL, he's going to hone his route tree while refining his breaks/cuts. My only knock on him is he's a bit stiff, which is hampers crisp route running.  Warren strikes me as a gym rat football junkie and I can see that cleaned up in short order...in the course of a season or less.  Unless your name is Brock Bowers, TEs usually don't set the League on fire their rookie season.  I could see him contributing heavily in year 1, none-the-less.
    • I am not sure if it was or wasn't his decision to bring him back, but I am willing to bet that he fires him next offseason.
    • Eh. Evero has been here through now 2 coaching regimes. He also pushed for guys like DJ Johnson and has apparently had significant enough input on some free agency moves too. At this point nobody knows about Canales. Even Bryce Young's progress has to be taken with a grain of salt. The rubber has to meet the road in a big way in 2025. But I think it's fair to say the plan from the front office seems to be to let Canales focus on the offense. Although some people could rightly argue he needs to be more hands on across the roster given the fact his defense was 32/32 last season. And look let's be real here. Virtually everyone here is going to agree Rhule was a conman and not a good NFL head coach by any means. But he did swindle our owner out of a generational amount of money. That cannot be understated. With Reich though while he was not the man for the job he didn't even coach here a full season. Saying he didn't develop anyone while giving our front office a pass for their egregiously subpar drafting before and after he was gone (see our 2024 2nd round pick) seems odd. The simple fact of the matter is we need to both draft significantly better and we need to develop talent better.
