That was a playoff atmosphere out there today

I think this game was good for the Panthers.  Yeah we kind of took our foot off the gas and made it closer than it ever should have been but that doesn't take away from my point really.  That crowd was loud.  That team was playing like it was the playoffs because for them it was...they lose (which, spoiler alert, they did) and they are out. It was a one and done type game for the Giants and they brought everything they had.  The multiple dust up between players was evidence of that.  

But the Panthers persevered.  That's what you have to do in the playoffs.  You have to have that mental edge that doesn't let you quit.  The other team is going to make plays and the question becomes "What are you going to do about it?"  In the past we would have folded up.  We used to lose games like this ALL the time.  Now we're winning them.  You have to win games like this in the playoffs and we've proven this year that we can.  

I don't think we'll get the same kind of fight from the Falcons or the Bucs though.  They're pretty much done so I don't see them bringing the kind of intensity that the Giants brought today.  When we get in a tough game in the playoffs, and we will, we can look back at this game and have confidence that this team knows what to do.

Seeing Cam catch out of bounds passes and smiling going into the 4th isn't a playoff atmosphere .. But the defense made it one at the end and they responded like they have all year ... Just another carolina game some are use too

The Bucs and Falcons are conference rivals. They'll be trying to ruin our perfect year.  Getting ahead early will more than likely take the fight out of them though.

It was an away playoff game atmosphere. Luckily we won't need to face that this year.

I think its good for the offense to get a game winning drive under some pressure.   Theyve really only had that kind of end game situation where they need points at the end against indy and the saints this year.

Defense needs to tighten up!

Defense played playoff caliber ball for 3 qtrs, that won't be good enough when they play teams like the Hawks and Cardinals.
