We won but

I don't think it's coincidence that we struggled against New York and New Orleans. Both teams are built to engage in and win shoot outs. We are built that way, but we are good enough on defense that we can salt away shoot outs if we get a big enough lead.

Long story short, the only team we have to worry about keeping us from SB50 is probably the Cardinals. They have a similar offense to NYG and NO, but have a much better defense. We can't afford to take our foot off their neck if we are able to get it there in the first place

Most disgusted I've ever felt after a win. Only made worse by the fact that Arizona didn't blow their lead last night. Anyone calling Arizona the best team in the NFC won't get any pushback from me this week, nor will I disparage when they slurp all over the Seahawks.

Little I despise more than a dogfight that shouldn't be.

.But I don't care who Eli was in 2007 and 2011.  The Giants are a bad team this year.  And regardless of who we were playing, giving up 21 points in the 4th quarter is a soup sandwich.

I get your point but the Giants aren't an outright /bad/ team, they're a stupid team but dont forget they almost knocked off the Patriots back when they were unbeaten. Much like the Panthers from a few years ago they'd have a winning record if not for the last few minutes. Playing a desperate team on the road in December when you've clinched is never an easy thing but by no means excuses the 28 point comeback by any mean like you said

these 4th quarter comebacks from multiple teams has occurred multiple times this season . i want to know why is it happening ? aren we getting gassed? are we playing conservative on both sides of the ball? this is an issue we must resolve . yesterday should of been a dang blow out just like the game vs the packers colts and texans . we need to play agressive the whole game no matter what the score is even if we are up 80 to 0

They opened up their playbook, desperate for their last chance, we narrowed it down, losing concentration for 1Q. Thank god for Cam.

Those blocked FG's do worry me, they were close on 2 previous extra points too. This is going on a few weeks now. Same side, over and over again. Clean it up.

we need to adress that . special teams still suck , how many field goals did we have blocked this season

We thought the game was over and started resting some guys. I think the starters saw some backups come in and let their guard down. Giants are better than their record, they got some momentum and started rolling, it was a perfect storm.

We've seen this a few times this year and it's concerning, but I'm encouraged by the fact that we were able to preserve the victory in each case... this team is battle tested.
