We had zero pass rush for  most of the game and didn't really seem willing to do anything about it.  We just let Eli stand there and pick us apart drive after drive.  If thats our postseason defensive plan nobody needs to bother making Super Bowl plans.

Today seemed really unusual with our lineups.  I wonder if that was rivera trying to get some people a little rest or if it had to do with something the Giants were doing.  I'm not too worried about blowing the lead because we are going to be at home for the entire playoffs.  We got up big and counted a team out on the road that we shouldn't have

Giants are not a bunch of pushovers.  Had some bad breaks this year or they might have been headed to the playoffs.  We know how that feels as Panther fans.

Much respect for NY for not giving up early in the second half, found a way to get back in the mix.

Panthers played like champions when things came down to the wire.

For the first time since the 49'ers game though they really lost their composure out there. the Beckham stuff was ridiculous but I think it really threw the team off their game during the 4th. Against the 49'ers it cost us on the biggest stage, we got away with it today. Hopefully Rivera can use that as a reminder to keep on pounding

Eli has SBs, they also have the best (arguably)WR in the NFL. We were at their house. Everyone in the national media picked the upset. We are beat up. .........WE are 14-0.

I fully understand the OP. This lesson about not letting up on defense should have been learned already. Having said that, it is good to win and still have things for the HC to get a little pissed about.

I'd feel a lot better if they learned from their mistakes.  Almost letting Indy win after a 17pt 4th quarter choke?  Nearly choke against GB.  Almost let Brees put up 40 against us?  Smother a faltering falcons team, but then give up TWENTY EIGHT UNANSWERED in a little over a quarter.

 

Cam can't keep bailing them out forever.  No one in NFL history could do it every time.

14-0.     Yanno how rare it is for a team to go 14-0?   Know how many teams started off at 13-0 and then lost that 14th game?  The only thing to takeaway from this game was that we won.      The string of kooky plays happened with us like they happened to several 13-0 teams before us,  except we didn't flinch..  we overcame,  we won.

Eli gets the ball gone quick.  He is hard to sack.  Cj did get close a couple times.  Not a lot of close pressures from others that i recall.
