Stewart has always been the best read option back on this team. I was also a little worried something like that fumble would happen. He did pretty well other than that tho, running and receiving.

You're missing the point. That means he was getting stuffed most of the time, and is not conducive for getting first downs.

Never going to happen. He was the same in college. He is a slower less athletic version of Shady McCoy. Quick and looking for cuts and jumps. Goes down easily when hit square. No tough running.

Stewart, Tolbert, and Wegher are the backs who can move a pile. Whitaker and CAP are the scat back types who lack power.

And you're missing the point, even great running back's have 1 or 2 yard carries.  And he wasn't getting stuffed he still averaged over 3 yards a carry if you take away his best run.

Okay... but do you understand that you don't want that? 

In other words, five straight rushes for 5 yards will help a team way more than 4 rushes for zero yards and a rush for 25 yards. Our running game (outside of Cam) was flat today, and if you couldn't see that, you were blind.

14 rushes 59 yards is solid, I don't care what you think.  What running back consistently gets 5 yards a carry?  No running back that's who.

Almost 100 total yards

Would have had over 100 had they integrated him into the offense earlier. Very pleased with what I seen from CAP, very good runner. Might as well rest Stewart until the divisional playoff game.

He's not a blazer, but he's way faster than JStew. JStew is 10 times the running back though, and for exactly the reasons you mentioned.

That was my take. I didn't pay attention to his blocking, but he did OK. I'm not sure he's a long term answer at RB though. Without that long run his average yds/carry would have been poor.
