The other difficulty with a European team is that they would have a hard time keeping quality players because of salary cap issues. The exchange rate is not favorable, and most European countries have a much higher income tax. You'd have to pay players based in Europe a lot more for them to take home as much as they would with a stateside team which is going to make it hard to keep multiple quality guys and stay under the salary cap.

Lots of money and good size populations in time zones that aren't too different for the most part.

It would be nice if Europe had enough quality players to run their own league and have a Super Bowl winner vs Euro Bowl winner at end of year instead of the joke of a pro bowl

Not a chance in hell, unless they chose from the very beginning to consciously man the team at a minimum of 90% with DA CRAMSON TAHD players.

Figure the Birmingham Huddle, or whatever the equivalent, would be just as you mention during draft lead up.

We have a lot of UNC fans on the Huddle, but obviously not to the level of Tide fans

Not only a higher income tax, but a MUCH MUCH higher cost of living.  I have work colleagues from England, Switzerland, etc., and they ALL have put in requests for me to bring stuff back from the States, since clothes & housewares, etc. are almost half the price of what they'd pay in Europe.

Give Canada a football team.  They suffered through the CFL long enough.  If the NFL really wanted to make "American Football" international, they need to bring back NFL Europe or any other league in those nations.  Then we can have a NFL World Cup type of deal every four years.

No team in the Dakotas, Iowa, Montana, if a team was put in this area it would have a huge fan base rather quickly.

San Antonio should get their own team before the foreigners, then Toronto and Mexico City.  Anything outside NA would be a nonstarter until supersonic flights are resumed across the pond.

It's completely illogical and impractical to have an NFL team in any other country.

Toronto is right next door to Buffalo and likely will eventually import the Bills full time as Buffalo's heyday has come and gone.
