Seattle has been beating up bad team and now "they have turned it around" while we have been beating everyone and we are the "worst undefeated team ever".

Stewart ran for over 100 yards against the Cardinals last year, okay Lindley, score effects maybe but that was still a legit defense and we ran for almost 200 yards in total on them

Yea but that playoff game was last year. What happened 9 or 10 years ago is completely irrelevant. What happened last year is barely relevant. 

Not directed at you, pj77, but all this talk of what happened a long time ago having any bearing on this year annoys me. "Giants beat undefeated teams in 98 and 07!"  So fuging what??  That has nothing to do with now. "Only one team has ever gone 16-0!"  We only need to win 3 more games against bad teams to do it. The odds are in our favor. "The Seahawks have gone to the last two Super Bowls!"  That Seattle team didn't have to come to THIS Panthers team. Even when we played in their house last year it was a close game for the most part, two score win with a single play near the end that was a two score swing (Chancellor's int). And that Carolina team wasn't as strong as this one. Our O-line in that game (and the 17 before it) was pretty much historically bad. 

TLDR:  history has application in some fields. An NFL football field isn't one of them.

Speaking of last year's game, it's worth noting that game would have been a total blowout if we hadn't shot ourselves in the foot a bunch of times.

But I watched part of the Cards game last night. That is a very good team. Our defense better clean up their jekyl-and-hyde crap soon. Championship teams do not blow a 28 point lead against mediocre teams. We cannot pull stuff like that against the Cardinals. Good news is we got a few weeks to clean that up. Plenty of time

From what I have seen I would not be surprised if we don't route the cards if we play them.  They are going to need a bunch of help from the refs to keep it close.  Seattle is probably the best team to us in there house.

That's fine.  Any given Sunday.  But both times I've heard this, there was no argument as to how or why.  Just a "feeling" that this undefeated team is secretly horrible.

I mean, there's a lot of valid reasons to believe we'd fail against the Cardinals or Seahawks.  Our secondary and O-line are patched together.  Our running game is a question mark if Jonathan Stewart can't stay healthy.  Our receivers drop more balls than any others in the league.  Our defensive line consists of 3 statistical nobodies + Short.

But I never hear these things as reasons for the Panthers going one and done.  Just "feelings."  People "feel" like we're frauds who will be exposed against Arizona or Seattle.  They can't defend that opinion (except for pointing out our schedule is weak) because they don't actually watch our team outside of Cam Newton's highlights.  For fug's sake, people are still calling this defense "elite," which is just a hold over opinion from 2013.

I'll say that I'm really glad the Panthers were genuinely disappointed yesterday.  They all knew that they almost poo the bed by stepping off the gas early.  Ron was pissed.  Cam was pissed.  And Roman Harper pointed out that no one in the locker room was happy after the game.  That's the first time the Panthers have shown remorse for letting off the gas.

I hope we start seeing Cam put up ridiculous numbers in the last two weeks of the regular season.  No more running the ball to beat the clock.  Hang 70+ on the Falcons and Bucs, if you have to, to develop that killer instinct.

All the blown leads have pretty much been on the defense letting down, except for an untimely turnover here and there by the offense. Hanging 70 isn't realistic but defense playing better should be.
