Seattle's defense, offense dominating again

The Seahawks will challenge the Panthers in a lot of ways. First, Seattle has been to the winner's circle twice, knows how to win it and is unafraid to go on the road and take on the best, including the Panthers at their place. Seattle's defense is rounding into form, forcing teams to play one-dimensional, and the unit is a good matchup for the Panthers' offense in terms of style of play. 

Offensively, Russell Wilson has found his groove, and the connection between him and Doug Baldwin gives them what they need to win potential shootouts. I think Marshawn Lynch will be healthy, fresh and ready to go this postseason, which will help Seattle make a run.

Arizona will challenge Carolina's stellar run game

Even though Carolina is 13-0, they might not be the best team in the NFC. If the Cardinals can shut down Carolina's run game ( ranked second in the league), would the Panthers be able to counter by throwing the ball? We know Arizona can run and throw. We haven't seen anyone stop Carolina's run game yet this season, so if that happens, it'll be interesting to watch.

Seattle's postseason experience trumps Panthers' momentum

The Seahawks know what it takes to get into the postseason, as well as the extra steps of getting to the Super Bowl. There's a reason they've appeared in the last two Super Bowls. They are the toughest team mentally, and I'd go with them in the postseason if I had to pick a team, despite Carolina being on a roll.

The Cardinals are probably the most well-rounded team in the NFL. They have the top-ranked offense andfourth-ranked defense, so they'll be able to compete on the scoreboard and slow down Newton and thePanthers' offense. Carson Palmer is a veteran who can handle the blitz and fit the ball into tight coverage. I think Arizona is the team that is best built to beat Carolina.

Without our starting DE's, on the road, with Graham, Lynch, and Rawls, losing the turnover battle (-2), giving them short fields and a flea flicker, and having to go 80 yards 4 times.

Surreal how they have the mother of all chokes in February and now they're clutch when they haven't been since that game? Mike Tomlin gutlessly opted for a FG instead of the lead on 4th and 2 inside the 10 or they'd likely have 6 losses.

We're a better team 1-53 and would physically whip them again, as we have even in our losses to them in recent years.

As I mentioned two days ago, even the Falcons have won at BOA since the Hawks.

WTF have the Cardinals done that makes them so dangerous?  They haven't even made it to the divisional round of the playoffs under Arians.  The Seahawks are dangerous I get it, but this will probably make the second year in a row the Panthers play the Seahawks twice and at this point it's like a division rivalry.  We know them, they know us, it'll be a bitter fight no matter what.  Neither of those teams are obviously better than the Panthers, and anyone who says otherwise is just saying garbage to get people talking.

These types of articles are a reporter's job. We are the best team in the league. But there are only so many ways to write about that. Gotta have a voice above all the noise, right? Opinions and job responsibilities are quite often divergent.

The Cardinals fumble a lot.  We force a lot of fumbles.  Not sure if its really a good match up for them.

We will physically manhandle the Cardinals, all day freaking long.....they could not punch the ball in on 1st and Goal from the goddamn 1 yard line last week against the Vikings.  

You think we would ever have that kind of problem?  They are a finesse kinda team.  We are a smash mouth, beat you up kinda team.  The finesse teams usually dont fare too well in those kinds of match ups.

Seattle's offense WAS starting to click....now they have no RB.

Seattle's defense gave up almost 500 yards to the Steelers....they are still not the same dominant unit as in the past. 

Arizona....only could score 23 against Minn with them not having their 3 best defensive players.

 

Sorry "experts".....the Hawks and Cards are good teams, but they are NOT better than the Panthers.

What else are they gonna say? 'The Panthers are a lock for the Super Bowl' ? Wouldn't be much of a story. Granted it would be different if we'd won every game by 3 TD's, but it's their job to find the contenders and put in their 2 cents on their chances.
