Luckily for the Huddle, message boards are kinda out dated. These fans seem to be in love with Reddit, where they can be seen poo posting all over /r/Panthers and /r/NFL.

Now that the Panthers are winning, and Cam's having an MVP type year (along with other things, and players), the Panthers are being exposed to a greater amount of NFL and non NFL fans, and they like what they see, and like the team.

So, first post is on a bandwaggon thread..... Oh well. Couldn't be happier that this fan base is growing!  I've been a panthers fan since my dad bought us tickets to the first home game in Clemson and most of us have known this team is special for a long time!

The more the merrier I say...

What gets me about those groups is that every week, one or two days before a game, someone will post 'What time/Who do we play?'   That just pisses me off....lol

I think anyone can root for a team, otherwise how would fanbases grow?

A bandwagoner IMO, is someone who just joined a teams fandom, but then acts like they been fans for years, talking mucho stuff every time they get a chance, instead of just chilling.

The bandwagon stuff has never bothered me.  As long as they're jumping on our bandwagon and staying.  But you included NFL fans changing teams in your statement and that was what I was asking about. Those are bandwagon fans

I didn't say "changing teams"

 Young fans, or fan from another city, can like the Panthers. Why not? Doesn't meant they have to root for them exclusively, or root for them at all.

All "fans (or people who root for the team)" don't have to be official Panther fans. However, they can gain new fans from young people, or people who don't really have a team, cause they don't like their local one, and/or don't like sports or football.
