Sounds like the team is going to see how Tillman's knee responds tomorrow at practice, and if they feel the need to place him on IR, then they will promote Lou Young from the PS.

they're not going to put tillman on IR unless his knee literally grenades in the middle of the field.

Question:  does anyone know how much turnover we've had in terms of DB coaches and schemes since McClain was last a Panther?

He was in the final cut down in the preseason with the team in 2011. So he would have gotten offseason and preseason work with McDermott and Rivera.

Steve Wilks(Secondary coach), Richard Rodgers(DB assistant) and Curtis Fuller(Nickel CB coach) didn't join the team until 2012.

Thanks.

I think the only members of the defense with whom he ever would have played are TD and CJ... so, while there's a bit of Panthers' familiarity, not a ton... it's pretty dated.

[Offtopic PS:  Do you realize Luke is already the 3rd most senior player on our defense?  Wow...]

They know what they are getting. He was in previously for a workout (maybe multiple?) so who knows how much familiarity they have. Jon Jones said he was 1st priority after Bene went down.
