I'm so happy I saw this movie. This movie brought me back to the the original trilogy. I want to thank JJ Abrams for creating such a great movie. I loved this movie so much, visually and story line, that I rank this tied for 1st with Empire Strikes Back.

i literally have no idea what to think. i usually sit there and critically analyze films but i decided not to do that for this one. i just enjoyed it. i'll be going back to watch it a second time tomorrow and maybe i'll decide then.

I liked it but my dad who is a big fan of originals, not so much...  After the movie he said "They should of never made a new one".

 

i think the movie is great but storyline is lacking... Good movie but they could of done better.

I think the opposite. The lack of storyline is similar to episode IV when the character relationships were revealed in the next two episodes. That is what we are getting in this one. I really liked the idea of introducing new characters and bringing in a  new generation of fans while showcasing the stars of the past and maintaining the interest of the original fans.

I saw it yesterday and really liked it. I'm not a Sci-fy fan but always loved Star Wars. After the last couple I was skeptical but was very happy with how they tied everything together. I feel like you could be brand new to Star Wars and still really enjoy this one as well.

Saw it for the second time today and holy cow I can't believe how many little things - and a few big things - I missed on the first viewing just freaking out about seeing ALL THAT. Many of the little plot beats I didn't get the first time made sense the second. And I still had a blast watching all that stuff. I'm even more enthusiastic about where they go with the new characters now.

Saw it yesterday and liked it.  Introduces all the new characters, has a basic story but more than anything I think it gives a very solid foundation for the conclusion of the entire series which will be played out in the last two movies.  Am on vacation with the family but my son and I will see it again back in Charlotte.

I'm gonna be one of the few that didn't really dig it. Light saber fights were weak sauce. The only really cool scene to me was

Yes I actually got a kick out of it. One of the handful funny moments in the movie.

This is very true. My wife has never watched a Star Wars movie and she totally loved it. She is now really interested in the story lines and who is who and from where and how.
