New theory about O-line

Since we all seem to be doing the blame game. I figured to jump in and do the same.

I blame for our o-line blues none other than...

DC Ron Meeks

He has simplified our defense so much that for all of training camp and of course preseason when other teams are so vanilla, that now our oline doesnt know how to handle complex schemes and different looks.

The oline is used to seeing just one front and no adjustments on defense. So we get the Birds in game on and they do an interesting thing. They overload one side of the line and then do something that is absolutely foreign to our o-line. Its called a blitz.

The funny thing about this blitz is that they sent more people than we have to block and our oline and qb gets so frustrated. Our defense does try to do this at times, but unfortunately we havent mastered the blitz yet. We like to run right into the back of our own player or the other teams oline.

So you see everybody our oline wasnt up to par because they always practice against a one front defense. Chalk up this loss to Ron Meeks! What an ass.

this is why i thnk we need to bring in an assistant DC/defensive consultant who knows about blitzing and 3-4s. at the very least he could help the o-line get ready for it.

i know if i had the job as DC i would just stack 9 in the box all day and blitz like crazy. it's proven to work. panthers can't handle it.
