Kelvin Benjamin has pretty much been completely forgot about...

How awesome would it be if KB could make it back for the super bowl. I remember hearing that the Bears think they could maybe get Kevin White back by the end of the year but I also think KB tore his well after White did

KB is on the IR.  Not allowed back for the season, even if he were healthy.  Maybe Kevin White was on the PUP list, or the Short-term IR (available for 1 player per season after 8 weeks absence)?  PUP and IR are different things... (PUP is for players who were injured prior to training camp)

White didn't tear his acl he had something else.

One encouraging thing I noticed this last game KB was on the sideline and seemed completely engaged with the team. It's easy for guys who miss the season to get detached from their teammates, very glad that isn't the case with him.

KB and cam are legit best friends. This team is super close on and off the field.

As I said earlier this season, it has to be bitter-sweet for KB on the sidelines.  On one hand your team is having a historical year and on the other hand you do not really have a big part in that success ( besides sideline mentoring or just being a fan ).  KB seems like a pretty tough cat and I expect him to be back next season in mid-season form.  As big as a competitor as he is, I can imagine he is just itching to get back out there again.  Rest up, sweet prince.

Many Panther fans would have argued last year that KB was just as good as Odell Beckham. Both rookies are built the same and would make some serious Highlights throughout the season. While OBJ did pull away stat wise from KB towards the end of the year, many considered them both to be the up and coming face of WRs.

The story this year has been (after KB went down) about Cam doing more with less than stellar WRs. Most media outlets and "new" Panther fans really know nothing about KB.

I am all about the game this week, but it is nice to know that next year, we get KB back. And I am willing to bet he is absolutely going to ball out on epic levels!

Keep Pounding KB!

No one other then worlds biggest homer would have said kelvin was every bit as good as ODB. Kelvin is great and a legit number 1 receiver, but ODB has the potential to be an all time great.

OBJ didn't play until week 4 or 5. He literally had to catch up to and then surpass KB's stats. He only had 12 Games under his belt and finished with 91 Rec / 1,300 Yds /12 TD. KB had 73 Rec / 1,008 Yds / 9 TD.

I love KB but OBJ was light years ahead of him and it was obvious.

Now the Kelvin Benjamin / Mike Evans comparison would be much better to make your case.

Also they're not built the same.

OBJ is a smallish WR who has incredible timing, leaping ability, hands, speed, acceleration, etc...  Dude has all the tools to be amazing in the NFL.

KB is a HUGE man with an impressive catch radius, but has some questions with his hands and sneaky speed.  KB is going to be your outside guy most of the time.  There are very few DBs who can think about out high pointing him for the ball. He's going to be a heck of a player for us for many years!

I'll be so thrilled to get KB back next year, and I hope that Funchess continues to learn and get better.  I think we are all in the same boat there, but there's not a huge comparison between KB and OBJ.  They are both legit #1 WRs in the NFL, and big time playmakers, though OBJ is miles ahead of KB there.  I hope KB comes back with a vengeance!
