in all seriousness, it really ruins the joy of watching cam give these balls away when you see dirty commoners in the stands fighting over them like scraps of bread in a famine. moments like the football giveaways are great teaching moments for kids. you can teach them to not think they're entitled to something that's being handed out, teach them how to act with poise in public - even in the face of disappointment - and how to be excited for other kids around them who draw the lucky straw.

raging about not getting a ball in front of your kids sets a horrible example and produces the kinds of human beings who will one day write a letter to the editor about dancing quarterbacks. c'mon lady.

I call Bull poo on this lie. I was there- it happened right next to me. The little boy, Riley, who got the ball was sitting on the bottom step in the aisle as soon as the drive started. Once the drive got in the red zone, he and his father were standing next to me. My seats are on the aisle on Row 1 (the Jump Zone). If anything, they were crowding me a bit as I was standing. He did NOT push that lady out of the way (not to say someone else didn't) as he was holding his son. When Ed Dickson scored right in front of us he looked left, he looked right, like who wants the ball? I was pointing to the little boy to my left (Ed's right) and then then ran over and gave it to Riley. On TV you can see my patting the boy on the head  and saying "Way to go."

BTW, neither were sitting on the front row.

Any adult clamoring for a football instead of letting it go to a kid should be ashamed of themselves.  Cam has started a tradition that is building the next generation of diehard Panther fans.  Some adults need to grow the fug up and act like they have some common sense.

Yeah me too. Makes no sense. If the panthers had arranged for her to get a ball they would just give her a damn ball in pre game, probably even autographed by cam or luke. Instead they leave it up to chance that a random player would find her in the stands full of screaming kids and give her a ball? Come on.

Absolute bullsprinkle. I was there, dude. Me and PhillyB were sitting right next to Isabel and we heard the whole story about the arrangements they'd made as soon as we got to our seats. You can actually see Dickson hesitate for a second before he gives the ball off because he knew who he was supposed to give it to, but the dude ripped it out of his hand before he could get it to her. I'm not the only person talking about this, it's been on WFNZ, 90.1, and it was on the Reddit front page early today.
