Opinions: Seahawks or Cards more dangerous in playoffs?

They both will be tough match up's but I really think this Panthers team can beat both if we continue to play football like how we played all season. You have to give this Carolina team all the credit because they haven't blinked yet and we still have the ability to get better. None of these games will be easy but i think we can still stay consistent and keep pounding all the way through the playoffs!

Seattle presents the more difficult matchup thanks to Wilson and his shiftiness in the pocket.

Carson and his weapons are dirty but their O line has looked mortal and Palmer has the mobility of a beached whale.  As we have seen with Indy, Atlanta, and TB this year your weapons don't mean squat if you're on your back all game.

Although with the injury to Rawls and Wilson's dependency on Baldwin with Jimmy out I have no doubt we beat both in Charlotte.

Seattle is going to have to go on the road in the first round of the playoffs.  Say what you want about the NFC east and how bad it is, but one of those teams are going to get hot at the end of the year to lock up the division (whether it be Washington, NYG, of Philly).  Seattle will be a favorite in one of their buildings which will also allow the opposing coach, fans and team to play up the lack of respect card.

Couple all that with the fact that Rawls is done, Jimmy is done, and they will be traveling to the east coast (where we know they have struggled historically as a franchise); I think you have a tricky first round game for the seahawks.

Assuming they do win against the NFC east, they would then come to Charlotte which would be their third straight road game (Week 17 in Arizona, Wild Card round on the east coast, divisional round on the east coast in Charlotte).  Lot of traveling in a short span of time.

I'm surprised this question is being posed as an either / or, because the way things are looking, we may well have to play BOTH.

I'm VERY VERY glad the Seattle game would be in CLT.  And even happier that we beat them in such a good game (i.e. we really won it, there was no let down by Seattle (ok yeah yeah, there was the blown coverage on the Olsen TD..., but Cam made the play) and no fluke on which the game was won, we came back and EARNED that win.) in Seattle earlier this year.  That's HUGE for our team's confidence.

It doesn't hurt either that we beat Arizona last year in the playoffs.  Of course, no Carson Palmer then.  But still we held them to that ridiculously low total on offense.  Anyway, it should give us confidence that we can win.  I'm glad we had such a shoot out from Drew Brees & the Saints last week.  It's huge that we showed we can keep up and win in an offensive shoot out against a stellar QB.  Not something we've usually been known for.  This season we've got the confidence to win, even if AZ is playing their best.

If there's anything this team is lacking, I can assure you that it's NOT confidence.  I don't think last year's playoff game has any bearing on this game whatsoever, except that maybe a handful of Cardinals players will want revenge.  But even that is doubtful, and it's not like they should need any additional motivation to play in what would be the NFC Championship game.

Palmer has surprisingly few INTs this year. I think this is because they have so many receiving options that he doesn't feel the need to force it. Since CB is currently a question-mark for us, I'd rather face Seattle. But please, if we do, let Norman drop to free safety when we send those heavy blitzes. I might have a stroke if I see Wilson lob another TD over the top.

Seattle is without Rawls for the year, and there doesn't seem to be any solid timetable on Lynch's return rendering their offense one-dimensional. Add to that the fact that they have a middling OL and a secondary that is not as good as years past and I feel pretty confident about facing them in Charlotte.

Arizona is without C.Johnson for the year too, but they have a capable rookie backup in David Johnson and also Andre Ellington. They have a solid pocket passer QB in Palmer and 3 reliable targets in slot receiver JJ Nelson, deep threat John Brown, and the always reliable Larry Fitz. Add to that a tenacious defensive line and a very solid secondary.

In short, I would rather play Seattle at home, but either game would be a defensive slugfest.

Cam should be able to exploit AZ's blitzing defense. There will be huge open gaps down the field and Cam can easily find them now that he knows what he's doing. We should put 30 on AZ. Seattle is a different animal. Seattle is better than AZ imo, and you have to make better throws against their defense. Their coverage is better, and they have a hell of a pass rush.

On offense Russel Wilson is a major problem when he's playing well. He's on fire right now. You can't just pressure him and expect him to collapse because he's an extremely mobile QB, and he's start running all over the field and chucking bombs. Not good. Wears the defense down, creates huge plays down field, and keeps drives alive. With Palmer, who I think is 36, and has cadaver parts in his knee, you know he's not going anywhere. You hit him, and he's going to break. There is nowhere for him to escape. Break him, and he'll throw picks and incomplete passes all game.

We'll get to see AZ versus Seattle again soon. AZ won the first match, but Seattle is playing much better now, and AZ is about the same. It was close the first time, and I think Seattle takes it next time.

If you think theres any team thats going to beat Carolina ... You're smoking something.

Panthers are in a seek and destroy mode.

They can blow out anyone including Patriots... Remember we have beat all these teams. Did you see New England last night... STRUGGLE against Texans.. who are a Very Very Very good defense.

Panthers are on their own Level and they KNOW IT. We know it.

Its fun watching teams come in here and realize halfway through the game.. they can't measure up to us.

Neither. Injuries and the Panthers themselves are our most dangerous rival, right now I don't think any team can defeat us. If we have another game like yesterdays full of injuries or another game full of mistakes like the one against the Saints we might be in troubles.
