So Rivera mentioned playing Shaq as a nickel in the base package.  I'm glad to hear that because I felt that was the main reason we drafted him in a way.

Only problem I'd have with Melvin White is that he never played slot for us.  If Finnegan went down, we'd be screwed.  Unless Teddy Williams has been practicing at the slot?  All I know is that when he played in the 4th quarter, he was lined up outside.

I wouldn't be opposed to Robert McClain. Originally drafted by the Panthers in 2010 and had a couple decent years as a slot CB for Atlanta. We worked him out before we signed Finnegan.
