lol that idiot Orr:

5. Last week, we wrote about prospective head coaches with something to prove down the stretch. Unfortunately, Falcons offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan will be tied at the hip with this spiral alongside Quinn. Seeing Matt Ryan get blanked again like he did Sunday is startling, especially for a quarterback viewed so frequently as one of the five best in football. His inability to find, or become simpatico with a second wide receiver has been startling. Of course, an offensive line that no longer gets to the second level for their budding star running back is not helping.

Matt Ryan has NEVER been a top 5 QB.  Top 10 maybe at the height of his Jones, Gonzales, White productive days.

OMG just let it go already.  Someone didn't pick us to win so what.  I think it's been pointed out several times already that when your playing pick em you sometimes have to go with the underdog to have any chance of winning.

It's just funny since he's picked against us 12 out of 13 games this year and he has that stupid punch-me face.

Joke? Thats hugely professional when your posting things to, ya know, "THE WORLD" over there at nfl.com. It makes total sense to allow some nobody writer to "joke" with the #1 team in the NFL. Happens to New England all the time guys.

ohhh ho ho youre trying to see how fast you can lose all credibility? Trick question, he never had any, stop fugging clicking on his poo.

    • Yeah and he succeeded at an even higher level in LA with an even better surrounding cast. Goff is a guy that isn't really able to dramatically elevate players around him but he can make a good situation even better. He is capable of that. Some QB's aren't. I am not sure Dak is able to do that and he is in a similar "class" as Goff, IMO.
    • i think i could handle that for a year. beyond that....i don't know.  back where we lived, when we had a few inches of snow, it might have been a couple feet because we weren't getting out and doing anything. i remember times where power would go out for days on end. we had propane and electric heat, depending on the floor. basement (had a couple bedrooms and a living room and kitchen down there) and main floor had gas logs. main floor gas logs was enough to take care of the upstairs, so we could stay warm and cook on the grill when we needed. we had a well so that was always an issue when the power went out. had to make sure tubs were filled with water for the toilets and we had gallons of water for drinking and cooking available. always had to make sure we were ready. that wasn't always the case. we had a couple moments where we were going through propane quickly and because we were dealing with the worst propane company in the world (amerigas) they wouldn't get out to put gas in our 900 gallon tank. made for some nerve racking moments.  i know y'all were probably a lot more able to handle that kind of thing, but after the little bit (comparatively) that we got here i just have no desire to get trapped again. maybe for a day or two a year get snowed in and i'm good.
    • I think he is just drawing a DC to them line and that's about as far as his thought process went. It makes almost no sense outside of that. Also, it doesn't make sense for Pittsburgh or Seattle at this juncture either.  I think our "veteran" pool is basically gonna be the Dalton/Flacco tier or the "pick your poison" options of young busts(Jones/Z. Wilson) or wild, TO prone gunslingers(Darnold/Winston/etc). We have the option to pursue I genuinely believe(depending on the way the rest of this season goes), we either draft a QB in the top 10 or resign Dalton. Outlier third option on taking one of the wild gunslingers that Dave feels like he can work with.
