What some fans need to understand, is that even when he drops a few, he still has the same effect on the defense.

He makes them respect the deep ball, which makes it easier for Stewart to run, and opens up other routes for our other WRS.

This is exactly what I've been saying.  He has all the attributes of a #1 WR without the numbers.  He commands the other teams top corner and constantly torches them, he makes them have to respect what he does because if they don't, at any given time he can go for 70 yards.  Because of his threat, our entire offense is opened up.  If/when we have him, Olsen, and KB playing at the same time, this offense will put up video game numbers.

Ginn struggled mightily with the over the should basket catches....he got his body turned on these and made the catch.

He rarely drops the ball when he's facing it, like on slants/crosses and punt and kick returns. Makes a huge difference.

His numbers for Carolina vs. his numbers in other season are just crazy. (Obviously these don't include today's stats)

And here's a tweet from today from BBR:

UPDATED Ted Ginn’s best seasons

’08 - 56 rec., 790 yds, 2 TDs

’15 - 37 rec., 642 yds, 8 TDs

’13 - 36 rec., 556 yds, 5 TDs

Also, this is a nice tweet:
