We aren't losing at home. Maybe one of the last two road games.

New Orleans at Carolina (Josh Norman heroic interception in end zone to win over Luke McCown, who threw for over 300 yards).

Indianapolis at Carolina (Panthers led 23-6 in 4th quarter with under 8 minutes to play, actually had to score twice in overtime to win)

Green Bay at Carolina (Thomas Davis heroic interception to win and keep Aaron Rodgers from possibly tying game--nearly scoring at least 20 points in 4th quarter alone; A game Panthers were winning 27-7 at the half)

So, if you say we aren't losing at home, we have come remarkably close to losing half our home games this season.

Winning teams make plays to win games.  I'm not worried about the fuging falcons coming to Charlotte and winning anything.

Not only that but it isnt like Ryan hasnt engineered a last minute win against us in the past.

The amount of insecurity in our fanbase right now is ridiculous. This team is one of the few teams ever to go 12-0...enjoy it!

And the field might be about to thin. Very few teams have gone 13-0. More have reached 13 wins, but only a few have finished undefeated after 13 games.

In Carolina... no less. No game is a gimme. We need to approach every game like we could easily lose if the Panthers don't play their game. That said, there's plenty of reason to feel confident for a win this weekend.

We will win if the Panthers keep playing the way they have been. If we make a bunch of mistakes, the Falcons may pull a fast one on us. I say "may" because of what happened last week. First true "off" game for our team this season, and we still find a way to win. This team is special.

Last time I heard Davis on the radio he was a big niners fan.  Of course they were winning that year.

Hecplayed here and played well but he doesn't have a special connection here anymore. Same as Greene, Peppers etc.

Thanks for the insight.  However, when I played (in college and high school) winning teams didn't blow leads and stay winning teams for long. I felt lucky we won a few of those games.  Winning teams don't make it a practice of giving up 4th quarter leads to  a qb who hit fewer that 50% of his passes and had 3 picks in your house (Luck). The point is, we have struggled to put teams away at home and we have let them take us to the wire.  Anybodhy can look at the scoreboard and make statements like yours--but if you want to analyze the way we have played at home without grunting cliches, you have to mention the 800 lb Gorilla in the room.  If you want to pound chests and state the obvious, fine.  But we have not played well at home.  We are not a winning team in the playoffs, by the way, when you can't do that crap.
