A Couple Ted Ginn Drops In Gifs

I don't think his eyes are a big problem when it's over the shoulder, I just think he doesn't have great natural feel. Great receivers don't follow the ball over their shoulder into their hands. It's practically impossible to move your head that fast, it's more about coordination and feel.

Other types of catches where the WR is facing the ball I totally agree.

TY just has his hands in position and never looks it in, he does use the basket style catch though.

Eyes still where the ball was when it was in the air.

Chances are that you are correct, but it is still not out of the realm of possibility that Ginn could further improve his reception percentage with continued help from the coaching staff to refine his technique.

Possible though not probable

He needs to hit the Jug machine for an hour after each practice.

Him and Cam need to start doing more deep passes after practice. That's the only way to get better. He may not have the best hands overall, but for the most part he's catching every thing else. Struggling with wide open deep passes

If Ginn had better hands he'd be Antonio Brown

He would still be missing some of the intangibles like shiftiness/evasiveness.

I just realized that Antonio Brown is a lot like Steve Smith. Not as physical or as strong, but with most of the other traits that made Smith great.

Coaching staff should have worked this out long ago.........I can fix Ginn's problems.

First........hand/eye issue...........over the shoulder catches....

You teach an exercise where Ginn must catch a ball and call out Lace.......or Leather.............meaning he can't take his eyes off the ball until he sees the lace or the leather grain on the football. He has to yell it out each time he catches it in practice..........constantly until he hears it in his mind.........L and L.

He must hear L and L in his head every time he catches that ball.

Second finger skill............a guitar player's best trick.

The broomstick spider crawl.

stand up holding a broom stick with one hand by your finger tips on the side of the handle near the top and crawl the broom stick up in your hand by using the fingers on one side and the thumb on the other side like a spider walking and keep crawling using the finger tips of your hand until you reach the bottom of the broom stick and then allow it to crawl back down. Do that with both hands three times a day and as you get better go faster but keep the same fingertip spider motion going.

Within a couple weeks he will have the best hands and catching in the NFL.

Our coaching staff it clueless about such obvious training solutions  and it works every time.

Ginn is a veteran receiver. At this point he is what he is. Accept it. I really wish our fans could get over his drops, its the price of doing business with Ted Ginn.

Once he drops one at the worst possible time and the Seahawks end up knocking the Panthers out of the Playoffs because of it, then you'll care, when it matters to smart people now.
