TNF-Panthers Only Team With Both O and D in Top-5

I just checked the leader boards at Sporting Charts.  Here you go:

Offense: we're 3rd in points/game & 3rd in rushing (yards/game)

Defense: we're 3rd in yards/game, and 2nd in rushing defense.

Other than rushing, where we're in top 5 in both offense & defense, i don't see any single metric (scoring or yards) where we're in top 5 on both O & D.

Heavens forbid the NFL TV Network not having statistical correctness, I mean, it's only their sole-purpose to know the game the network covers.

I thought they were talkin bout the Cardinals

I thought so to, if it was about today's game.

NFL Network, did put up a stat comparing Arizona to Carolina (side by side) we're the Panthers were in the top 5 in scoring offense and defense, though Panthers probably dropped out of that one.

Should you value an offense putting up 50 points when their defense keeps the opponent to 3 points more than an offense putting up 50 points when the opponent puts up 48? No. The 50-48 offense is much more impressive - especially with several lead changes.

All that matters is how an offense responds when trailing in a game. The best offense is the one that regains the lead consistently. The best defense is the one that maintains the lead consistently. Total points, yards, passing and rushing stats are skewed in so many ways there is no point in even exploring those arguments.

Also, I am tired of hearing people argue record is not a good indicator of how good a team is and then supporting that argument by pointing to the strength of schedule for that team. How do people not understand the issue with that line of reasoning?
