What metric?  Scoring?  Points per drive?  Yards?

I don't know, they just ran a segment about it on pre-game TNF.

I saw the graphic showing the factoid. Panthers O is #3 and the D is #4.

Tried to watch it but had to do Daddy duties and my GF accidentally changed the channel before I could rewind and watch the segment.

Probably scoring

Our D may have moved out of top 5 scoring after what Brees did. O is 3rd I believe and only like .1 behind the Pats and not too far from the Cards. There aren't really any amazing scoring D's this year but a fair amount are close to each other at the top.

Don't worry your seahawks are okay too. I mean if ya wanna pick and choose you could prolly find some stats to compare with the Panthers.

Did you type this sitting on top of kuechly59's lap?

As for the serious replies i'm pretty surprised our scoring D is in the top 5 after sunday.  Interesting.

I just checked the leader boards at Sporting Charts.  Here you go:

Offense: we're 3rd in points/game & 3rd in rushing (yards/game)

Defense: we're 3rd in yards/game, and 2nd in rushing defense.

Other than rushing, where we're in top 5 in both offense & defense, i don't see any single metric (scoring or yards) where we're in top 5 on both O & D.
