Hidden Truths Carolina Panther Flaws

Our D is getting exposed by our poor four man pass rush, blitzing early is also another way to get exposed especially in the secondary

What follows here is a lam-basting state of the defensive backfield, filled with some pretty heavy observations and the state-of-affairs, looking at our DBs. So if you don't wanna read about criticization of our personnel, please don't read any further...we're 12-0, so we really can't ask for much more because we are winning and that's pretty darn great...so you can leave with that, or read further if you are okay to deal with some critiques.

Ill begin by stating that I am a huge fan of this team and I'm thrilled with our record and none of this is vitriol towards any players, as I am not a professional football player, nor could I make the team or do what any of these players are able to do as far as football goes...So my ego Is checking-out right now.

Where is Tre Boston? I feel like he's barely even a part of this team. Sophomore slump? Wasted draft pick? He's not flashing at all or I'm not paying enough attention.?

all I know is, we've got to have a contingency plan for both safety spots and regardless of wether or not we franchise Norman, we have to sign or draft a lock-down corner who is possibly a ball-hawking speedster to groom for a couple of seasons.

We'll also have to collect a couple more safetiy's and some more Maulers for both sets of linemen this off-season.

at least Shaq flashes on ST and is usually found near the ball carriers after tackles on defense but because Luke and TD eat up ball-carriers, there's no way Shaq can beat those guys to the punch unless its an iso-play directed towards him or a when Luke and/or TD are blitzing. I'm not going to criticize Shaq because he has to split snaps with 2 other players.

Just hoping that Carrington can get the job done at his position and as much as I hate to say it, Colin Jones and Joe Webb either need to shape-up or ship out. They're the weakest links both on defense and STa as Colin can't cover a toddler and Joe can't seem to cover his blocking assignment on ST without garnering a penalty flag...nor can he do much, being a KR. Having utility guys are great and all, but not when they are sub-par at everything they are asked to do, and there's not much that Webb is asked to do.

Only way I see teams beating the panthers is by moving there best WR to the slot like AZ do with Fitz but that's something Mcd is able to properly plan for in my opinion and if the Oline goes full retard and gives up a bunch of sacks vs there aggressive D

Joe Webb on defense? #JackandJill

Here's a truth that's not hidden.  The Cardinals defense which everyone calls "legit" gave up 335 yards to game manager Bridgewater last evening.  But yet, they don't have any flaws and are going to win the NFC according to all the analyst.

Ron and all the players came out saying they weren't taking that game seriously and weren't focused for that game. Just saying...That better be the last time this season we have to make that excuse again.

I know it is Bleacher Report, blah, but Chris Simms makes a good point. With Peanut out, we play a lot of zone coverage schemes. I think it is a valid point and we have to be sharp on communication with zone schemes. I'll leave this here. Start around 1:35

They play a lot of Zone because they are a zone team. Or did we switch and when did that happen?
