Granted it's a small sample size (if you look in the comments), but I found it interesting that they wouldn't take Cam.

I kind of get their thought. They don't have a game changer on defense. They have julio and Matt WAS serviceable. That scheme doesn't play very well for him and he's having a really down year which isn't exactly the norm so I kind of get it.

Cam was born and raised in Atlanta and grew up a Falcons fan. After high school he spurned the local schools and signed with Florida- a rival school. Then 3 years later he signed with another rival school in Auburn, where these fans had to watch a local kid dominate their schools and the rest of the country on his way to winning a Heisman Trophy, SEC Championship and BCS Championship.  

Now he's in the NFL and it's deja vu all over again for them. Cam is dominating their team and the entire NFL while yet again playing for a rival.

Their college teams haven't won anything in decades and their pro team hasn't won poo in 50 years of existence. And now they're witnessing a kid from their own backyard dismantle the NCAA and NFL on his way to all-time greatness while playing for rival teams.  

Atlanta fans are cursing Cam on the outside, but crying on the inside and wishing he was their's.

Good thing Cam and TD will show 'em what they had.

They probably figure most QBs can work with Julio Jones, Roddy White, Jacob Tamme, Devonta Freeman, Tevin Coleman and Justin Hardy

Kuechly is just as hard of a player to find as Cam (in the form of a franchise QB).

That sounds good but it's not that deep. Kids get recruited away from Georgia every year doesn't mean they "spurned" or is hated by the locals... I like Cam as much as any other players, he's a "Georgia Boy" regardless of his college choice but I'd take Keek he's what we need in the middle of our defense + we aren't in the market for a QB yet. 

Its that simple. Lol.

You're right... I don't think many here understand how hard it is to find a "good" LB let alone an elite one like Keek. You guys consistently get good/great ones.

Are you upset that most picked the best LB in the league over Cam when we already have a quality QB? I think that's common sense not haterade lol..

Last good LB they had was Grady Jarret's dad. Keith Brooking, Michael Foley, and Sean Weatherspoon is the best they can scrape up when we've had Mills, Green, Morgan, Witherspoon, Beason, TD, and Luke in the same timespan.

Luke is the "safe" pick, and by picking him, they dont have to admit what is right in front of them.... that Cam is taking over the league.
