We are 2nd in the East

Can't lie it feels weird to not have an awful team. I think sadly 13-8 is one of if not the best starts we've ever had to a season since the Bobcat ERA. Kemba is playing very solid, Batum is leading the team and Zeller and Marvin are really stepping up. Not to mention our bench is one of the best in the East. Wouldn't be shocked to see us win a playoff series this season because these guys really play well with eachother.

Zeller is more comfortable than ever plus this roster just jells beautifully. Charlotte is really stepping up its game in pro sports.

I really thought Al does not fit nicely into the tempo of this squad, and now it shows more than ever.

Hornets still suck. Being #2 in the East is like being runner up in a down syndrome thumb wrestling contest. I'd love to hear someone explain how the Hornets 1) get past the Cavs and then 2) get past any of the top 6-7 in the West.

Go away if this is your attitude why even be a fan? This is by far the best team we've had this iteration of the franchise and it's not even close. Seriously, this post sincerely pissed me off, take your internet tough guy bitching to some other place if you can't enjoy the best team we've had in 15 years.

P.S. The Hornets would be 3rd in the west

Sorry. There's just no point in being excited if your destiny is AT BEST to job out to Lebron James.

Then why be excited about being alive if your destiny is just to end up dying in 20 years? Way to be an asshole about a great team, I'm sure you're a real great person to be around.

Yeah we should try really hard to trade Al for something.  He just slows us down.

I'm still mad we didn't resign Biz, bad idea imo.

We do have Biz. His name is Tyler Hansbrough.

Last night a Heat team showed you the blessing and curse of having a Biz-esque player in Hassan Whiteside. Great shot blocker, but a complete liability offensively and doesn't pass AT ALL. Their offense suffered tremendously because of it, much like ours did last year with Biz and Al.

Zeller, Frank, and Hawes have the ability to move the ball around in the offense and score from any point on the floor (Cody's 3 ball is still a work in progress.) The defense and rebounding hasn't taken much of a step back at all, it's just a matter of everyone actually putting forth an effort on that end. The Golden State game was a wake up call.

Trade Al for Biz? Biz was really decent in our up pace tempo, Al not so much.

Uhhhhh. If the Panthers had 0 chance of winning the super bowl I wouldn't support them either. Be my guest and get excited over at best being the team that Lebron beats though.

Then don't be an NBA fan, as that is due to their format more so than being any sort of indictment on the Hornets as a franchise.  NBA is best of 7 every round in order to prevent cinderallas and find out who the best team truly is.  NFL and even NCAA allows for more upsets and a higher likelihood for the field to knock off the top dog in the postseason with win or go home formats.  With the current format, the 5 or so teams with the top players in the league can just   Take it easy and turn it on a month before postseason and end up beating up on teams like Charlotte that bust their ass in the regular season just to get there.

Charlotte is filled with slightly above average (Kemba) to good (Zeller, Lamb, etc) to very good (Batum) players that are for the most part young and still have room to grow their game and they play well together.  We have an NBA team but aren't fortunate enough to have landed a top 5 player, so...... I don't really see what you don't enjoy about being able to watch professional basketball in Charlotte when your team is filled with enjoyable players that play a fun brand of basketball who happens to win more often than they lose.
