That's your strawman version of my argument. My argument is the Panthers should have drafted a first day quarterback two or three years ago and started grooming him to be Jake's replacement. And this didn't take a lot of foresight, either. Like I said, Keyshawn said it on espn's draft day coverage while he was still on the team.

Fiz is saying "in hindsight, Hurney had no other options."

I'm saying he did. There are several quarterbacks the Panthers could have drafted, put behind Delhomme for a year or two, and right now would have been a really good time to hand the reins over to that kid.

Wow, what a beautiful game winning drive Phillip Rivers just orchestrated. A guy who sat on the bench 2 years before the Chargers blew out Drew Brees.

Not sure how we didnt make the playoffs? I watched enough 4th quarter losses that we was ahead in. Had the game won instances. Jake blew them for us. Thats how i remember it. Also Foster was some to blame with his coughing up the ball. But i remember very well cussing them both.

I would atleast have seen what Mike Vick could have done. We are now without any QB that can start if Jake dose not shake it off quick.

That would have been the day I stop watching the Panthers play. If Vick ever comes into Carolina I am taking time off from football till he goes away and I will join any mob that secretly plans to take him out.

Please do not turn this team into a team of ex-convicts and drama queens. Leave that poo to the Cowgirls and the Eagles.
